I purchased this to place on the transmission hump in the front seat of my 1972 Buick. I needed something like those inexpensive consoles you could buy at your local parts store or WalMart back in the day to accept a cup holder mounted phone mount and this works well. The pointed splines on the underside-front and rear settle into the carpet and do a fairly decent job of keeping it stable. The console could have benefitted from having additional splines on the entire underside edge, in that it may have provided additional stability, but for the $11.99 I paid I’m satisfied.

Found it to be a little bit smaller, it's a single cast piece of plastic nice benefit, those that does have carpet spikes Being that it's a single mold, they could have ditched the CD holder for a deeper. Just container for holding items and the cup holders could be a little bit taller, but it's better than nothing.

My car has no cup holder for a classic car. The only place is on the floor or passenger seat. This does the job and allows me to drive a manual shift in my mustang, while hold my coffee or drink. I tried other types but no fit between the seats because of the parking break. The price is the best part of it !!
