Good quality tool - far easier than using regular pliers or (ouch) fingers and thumb. I had to install 192 clamps on a device with several silicone tubes and this tool made it go far faster and easier than other methods. After such a workout early in its life it still feels as solid as when it arrived.

They do the job, but there are a few things that could be improved on. 1 there should be a spring to open the pliers, when you are in a tight spot it is very difficult to open the pliers manually and try to position on the spring clip. 2 the ends that go onto the spring clip could have a little more tension on them, when you are manually trying to open the pliers the ends are moving around causing you to teach the neighborhood kids to swear.

I bought these as I was tired of using pliers to always try and remove band clamps. Used them recently to take off some radiator hoses and they worked great. Although I did find them prone to ratchet down very easily before they were in place, I think it was more a learning curve than a problem with them. Overall they seem up to the task and will accommodate a large range of clamp sizes.

The design didn’t work for the spring clamps on the washing machine. Clamp ends did not seat in tool. Don’t know. May work for smaller clamps.

Good tool, definitely gets the job done but it's kinda tricky to get it on the clamp once it os fully rested, you have to go back and forth due to the fact the plier doesn't open all that much, over all its ok for what it is.
