The last one I installed only lasted 10 months. I really don't do that much printing - just personal, not for work.Every time I install a new cartridge, I have a hard time getting the printer to accept it. That's an HP problem I would say - not the cartridge because it's supposed to be an HP cartridge, so I am a bit mistified here. Let's see how long this one lasts!

Sure, you can get cheaper, third party, toner cartridges, but why risk it? After 40 years in computer service, I've learned that it really isn't worth it to try saving a few dollars on a toner cartridge by using cheaper off brands. In the end, you will only end up with poor print quality, having to replace your fuser quicker, and eventually needing a new printer. You really end up spending your money in any case. Might as well delay that as long as possible.
