Nice camera, it is easy to operate and it provides a clear image. Hardly notice it on the dresser as well.

The picture quality is ok, but not the best. Also, the touch screen is not super responsive and requires a double tap to get the menu. Having buttons on the right like most monitors would make it easier to use for common functions. I also found the responsiveness when first turning on the monitor is very slow. I do like the split screen feature to be able to watch both my kids at the same time.

In our small place, it accomplishes our basic need: ability to view child who is sleeping in another room. The camera sits in a magnetic base and is easily adjusted for optimal viewing. Unlike our other monitor, it hasn’t been staying on at all times, I have to press on the screen to activate. But we can hear and communicate. Seems a little pricey at $149.99.

Let me just say that I had really high expectations for this product. The fact that it comes with a monitor AND you can use an app to connect the camera! Game on!Setting up the app turned out to be a little bothersome - for some reason it wouldn't let me get past the part where I had to enter a code I received to my cell phone and I KNOW I entered in the correct information.Nevertheless, I finally got the app set up along with the monitor and customized the app/monitor to my liking...that was pretty straightforward. The camera connected easily to my Wi-Fi and I was ready to go in a short time.I realllllllly really like how the camera connects to the mount via magnets! You can literally angle the camera in any way that best suits your needs without worrying about flexible arms or anything like that. And!!! the magnet is STRONG. It has not budged yet and is exactly how I left it when I installed it.Now, the tricky part....the app sucks. Hate to say it, but yes, it does suck. Laggy, slow, and just useless (other than setting the privacy mode) I cannot take all of the ads!Hubble really wants you to get that premium subscription or at least try it out for 14 days.Sorry not sorry, not paying for that. However, if you don't pay for the subscription, you can't access basic functions like sharing your camera so other people can view it (which most people would at least want their partner to access the camera!)I have an Arlo Baby camera which I share with 5 other people and it didn't cost me a dime. Also! I have a function that allows me to shut off my phone's screen but still hear the sounds coming from my son's room. This app doesn't allow you to do that...at least for free.I ordered this because I wanted the handheld monitor so I wouldn't have to rely solely on my phone to be my monitor and in that respect it works great!I have zero faith that I could rely on this app to work if I wanted to use it outside my home.If you want to exclusively use the monitor - this is a good buy.If you expect to use the app as well....especially with multiple users....I'd look at a different brand. My Arlo Baby camera was cheaper than this and doesn't require monthly subscription fees to use basic functions.

Out of the box you get the camera with a magnetic base, a power cable, and the monitor with a power cable. The magnetic base is nice, that it let's you angle and set up your camera with ease. The camera and monitor pair the moment you turn both of them on.The monitor itself is where this falls flat. The monitor has a touch interface, so it has another layer on top of the screen. Due to this extra layer, you get this almost CRT looking array of lines across the whole screen. The touch itself is not very sensitive. It works about 80% of the time, but other time, I find myself pressing it more than once for a response. There are options like music, communication, timer, etc... one big feature that is missing is moving the camera in a pan motion. That is available in my other monitors and those were purchased more than 2 years ago. That's one of the best features, so for this one not to have it is disappointing. The range is pretty nice. I had the camera in the upstairs room, and I had at least 3 bars still from the basement. It does the job. I wouldn't say it's great, but it's decent.
