The rear wheel well guards look factory. Easy to install, great fit, and durable. They are easily manipulated if the guards are preheated with a good hair dryer or the sun. I placed them in the Mississippi sun for about 20 minutes before installation. It made the job easy.

Took less than ten minutes to install after I left both liners in the sun for an hour on a 90 degree day. I can see why people might think they would have to cut off a little in the front, but once you snap that into place that tight snug fit holds them into place perfectly. Once they were in all holes lined up perfectly. I was able to put in three of the 4 screws with a driver, but the rear lower, I had to use a ratchet. The only tools I used were a driver a ratchet, a 5/16 socket and a plastic bicycle tire lever. I was getting ready with dawn and silicon spray, but it just wasn't as hard as some of the reviews would have led me to believe. Do whatever you have to do to get these hot to the touch before installing.

Initially I was dissappointed with the thickness. But, once I started to install them I realized that any thicker and you would not be able to get them into the wheel well. I have a Silverado 3500 and after a bit of a struggle I trimmed the edge to get it into the wheel well. My mistake, don't do that, use a heat gun to make the plastic a little more supple. You may think they have some excess material but they do not.. So the Passenger side Idid a terrible job and trimmed material back. Once in place I realized....don't do that!. I then heated the material with a heat gun in the hardest parts to get in. That worked perfectly. My only complaint is I have helper springs on my 3500 so the stops are in the way...... But once again, if you look at the design they have a "circle impression" on the liners, and I could have used that to cut it properly for the helper spring brackets.I like these so much I may buy another pair, and write off the poor job I did on the install for the first ones. You will not regret buying these for your box fenders, if you heed two things. "Just believe they will fit and use heat gun to allow material to bend. 5 Stars for sure!

These Fender liners fit pretty much perfect. 2008 Chevy Silverado 2500. The outer Fender holes didn't seem to line up but it doesn't really need the Clips in there anyways. Looks better without them

Husky didn't cut out a hole or provide any relief for the cross tube that juts out from the frame slightly. Consequently these do not fit as they should. Getting the holes on the fender lip aligned is very difficult and they just don't fit correctly. If they had have either cut the hole or perhaps molded in a relief area for that cross tube, they would fit perfectly. That said, they still improve the appearance of my truck and hopefully add durability.

Typical Husky, these are really thick and heavy material. Quite flexible - which is good or you would never get them in!The instructions say you can do it on the ground with your wheel on. Uhhhh.... suuuuure you can! Maybe if it was a hot summer day, and I was 20 years younger. Do yourself a favour and take them off. So much easier. Also, the instructions don't say it, but start at the back stuffing them in and work your way forward. Make sure you put those pinch nuts on FIRST! Or you're pulling them out again. Don't scratch the paint running the nuts over something. Also strongly suggest doing a power wash with detergent in the whole wheel well before hand. Then check for rust, paint chips etc. and FIX THEM before installing - or you're just covering things up to become a hidden issue later. You're putting these in to make your truck last longer right?! it's great not hearing stones pinging off the wheel wells now. And it looks better having the frame rails covered up.IF you have aftermarket bags (I have AirLift), you WILL 100% have to do some trimming to clear them. A sharp utility knife, doing multi-pass scores makes neat work of it. Pre-drilling the corners of the cuts means you don't have stress risers for future cracks.

The instructions would have you believe these just simply slide into place. Not so. It was a significant struggle to get them seated, but once in place they do exactly as I had hoped and cover up the inner workings of the rear area.
