First, fill the pods with water, plug in the targets, and watch as fun characters are revealed. This kids toy set features special edition pirate characters of Octavia Octopus, a purple octopus toy, and Cecelia Seaside, a yellow starfish toy. Next, battle any way you can imagine! Launch discs and go head-to-head in battle mode or take out pods at the dunk tank in dunk mode. A direct hit! As the target flies off the pod, the water drains out of the bottom and the character sinks in defeat. The battle arena keeps water contained, so kids can keep battling with this water toy without making a mess. This is a fun to play game for young kids. It is competitive, no electronics involved and reasonably priced . Refilling water can get boring but that is expected

My kids and I love to play this game. We like to shoot at one another while at the same time trying to dodge the projectiles from the opponents. There are two down sides to playing this game, the first is that water will get splashed around a little so plan for that. The second thing is that the rings that you shoot go kinda far so you may want to play in a smaller room or just make sure to keep track of where everything is being shot, we have lost 1-2 rings. Make sure you don’t put the top target/plug in too hard or it may not shoot off normally, this is a trick my son tries to use some of the time lol. We always end up putting the game on a towel on the floor between the cabinets and kitchen island, this helps with the water mess and to keep the shooting rings somewhat contained. Keeping them contained is a must because you will need to shoot more than 5 times for a good round and if that happens you will have to grab a ring that is on the floor next to you to “reload”, part of what makes it fun. I don’t like that the game has “extras” for you to buy that allow for more game types to be played, they are not expensive its just not something I am used to seeing with simple games like this.

So wanted to have fun with this game. My son loves things like this. But it was an epic fail. Either we are clueless or the toy is just poorly made. Ended up packing up and putting on the game shelf. Likely never to use again. Bummed.

Most of the parts are nice sturdy plastic, but the base is made of flimsy plastic like the kind that is used to package toys. Can easily be torn if not careful with it.
