Works very well for gaming, my friends can hardly hear me loudly click clacking away anymore. Feels smooth when typing and has decent customizabilitu for lighting.

I wish this keyboard is more mainstream and popular because it deserves a praise for its price-performance. Worth every penny you will spend on this keyboard. It ain't clicky, noisy, annoying, irritating, like most other gaming or even regular keyboards. The best feature this keyboard has is its durability and quiet typing. Please do give it a try and if ain't for your liking, just keep looking. I have been using this exact same model since 2019.If you are looking for a keyboard with a sophisticated software, lighting, etc... go look elsewhere now. This one is a basic gaming keyboard that will last you a good few years as quiet as it could be. Oh, it's water-resistant too which is a BONUS!

Been needing a new backlit keyboard for a while now and this one did not disappoint! The keys have good weight to them and feel good under your fingers when you type! Not super loud, yet still satisfying to use if you like the sound of mechanical keys! Many different colour options as well that you can pick and choose from if you don't like the defaults! Overall really decent for the price if you're looking for something under 100 bucks! I don't use it for gaming so I'm not entirely sure how it would function in that setting, but as a general every day keyboard it definitely fits the bill!

I’ve been using this keyboard for over two years, and it’s been fantastic. It’s sturdy and has a nice weight to it, with a great typing feel. The keys are comfortable, and the RGB lighting adds a nice touch. Highly recommend this to anyone looking for a reliable keyboard!

First impressions of this product: it’s great. The brightness looks awesome. I love how you can change the color patterns or outright turn it off if you don’t want it on. The keyboard isn’t too loud or too silent for me. I’m an aggressive typer by nature, so the responsiveness of the keys is a great fit for me.I would definitely recommend this product for any worker who is debating getting a boujee keyboard for their day to day work. The price is perfect for a quality keyboard. 9.8/10.

I ruined my last keyboard via a rum and coke spill while intoxicated (oops), and since this one was on sale I took the plunge. Got tired of using on screen keyboard, was really inefficient. I have to say; I'm surprised.Wasn't expecting a keyboard of such good quality. It's weighty; I doubt I'll accidentally move it around anytime soon. The keys aren't quiet, but if you're bothered by the clacking of keys then maybe you aren't big on computers to begin with. Still, the title of the product is misleading in that regard.The volume keys at the top right are super helpful and intuitive. Using the controls at the top left, you can change the color of RGB from red, to a sort of pastel palette, to the regular ol' RGB. You can also adjust the brightest from 2 levels, or turn it off completely.All in all, I hope this product lasts me. I'll update my review if anything happens.

Very good membrane keyboard, totally buy it when its on sale or even retail. Would get 5 stars if it had more than 3 brightness settings (Off, 75% and 100%), woulda liked 25% and 50% cause the keyboard can be very bright when you want to have a dimmer lighting set-up. RGB colors looks great and very satisfying membrane key caps. Good weight, design and build quality even if its plastic, looks more expensive than it is.

Bought this as a replacement for my Cooler Master CM Storm backlit keyboard which was working perfectly but had one glaring issue. As I use a 4 port KVM switch that uses the Scroll Lock button to change computer ports.. it was affecting the operation of the backlight of the keyboard turning off, then when turning the keyboard backlight on again by pressing scroll Lock I would lose the ability to scroll in programs like Excel using the arrow keys.The situation could not be worked around.So after reading all the reviews of multiple RGB keyboards, I settled on this hyper x keyboard as it has a dedicated backlight button. And it works perfectly, leaving the scroll Lock free for port switching.As to the keyboard itself, build quality is great! Keys are softer and quieter than my previous keyboard. I was hoping for it to be almost silent but it still has a bit of clicking and clacking.The RGB lighting is a really nice touch, 2 levels of brightness and about 7 presets of lighting and 7 colors to choose from.This keyboard was great value for money and I'm glad I pulled the trigger on this. Fixed my issue and it looks great doing it!Would recommend.

There's a need to write down a review for this keyboard since it if for people with specific requirements . Also this is for the membrane keyboard .Pros -1) Top quality keyboard , the whole frame is very sturdy and really well built .2) Out of the box plug and play with no issues whatsoever , identified immediately on windows 103) very very classy , along with that shiney steel hyperx logo and grooves below the space bar and the sides .4) lighting is top notch , you get 5 zones and you can change how you want it from the keyboard itself with a dedicated on off and switching button and specific Fn changes for speed , style etc .5) really nice wire that looks quite sturdy .6) dedicated media control buttons , for in game use.7) well spaced out keys .8) it was meant for my budget , for this price either you have this or the Logitech membrane if want a classy membrane keyboard that does the job .Cons1) doesn't have per key rgb lighting for the jazzy disco effect , but I didnt want that in the first place2) the keys are a little wobbly so you know it's not super expensive.3) there's no sound feedback from the keys but it really doesn't matter to me .I am extremely satisfied with this product for my build .

Despite showing as supporting Windows 7 there are no Windows 7 drivers supplied or available for download. Their driver page shows that it is UWA dependent, which means it won't work on Linux either.

I had to take a break from my job to write this because I am just so impressed. I am NOT being compensated by anyone for writing this.Short Version: It's well built, heavy, and the keystrokes are very smooth. The keys are quiet, not silent, and are lit up very nicely. It has greatly exceeded my expectations, and I will be actively recommending this to my family and friends.Long Version: So I've only used this keyboard for about an hour and, unless it suffers some type of catastrophic failure, this will be the only brand of keyboard I buy ever again. Immediately after picking this package up off of my doorstep I could tell this was a heavy, well-built unit, unlike my previous keyboard.Tangent! My last keyboard was purchased from another online retailer that maybe more specializes in computers and Black November sales. I was used to the standard stock keyboards I could get for $5-10, and that was fine. I decided to make the plunge into gaming keyboards, but quickly realized lots of them do not get good reviews or look any different than a cheap keyboard with lights behind it. I didn't want some cheaply made unit, so I tried to spend a tiny bit more for a nice one. However the one I paid for was very lightweight, cheaply made, and wobbly. I am in the process of returning it. I'm also currently arguing that this was defective as well. Hopefully I can avoid the restocking fee, but even if I can't I am so happy I made the choice to come to the more trustworthy Amazon to find a better unit.Ok, got that off my chest. This unit is so sturdy, so smooth, so bright, so...I am so relieved I have found a good keyboard. There are different lighting modes that make the keyboard fun to use, but most of all, it seems very functionally sound. I paid $40 for this, and if I knew how much better it would be than my previous keyboards, I would've paid more.Now there could certainly be better keyboards on the market. They better be at the prices some companies charge. For the price though, this was an excellent deal. You will not be disappointed in this purchase, especially if you have previously dealt with the cheaply made light up keyboards.Is this a perfect unit? Maybe actually, but a couple things are intially making me rate this a mere 99/100. At first glance I wasn't sure why the keys had their "shift alternatives" right next to the regular output. The semicolon/colon key and the apostrophe/quote key look a little confusing at first glance. Not a big issue, but it does seem weird. The other thing I noticed was that the keys are higher up than my previous, flatter keyboard, perhaps due to the heft of the unit. I don't think this is a major problem, but the wrist pad I'm expecting to arrive tomorrow may end up being a great complement to this keyboard.If any of my thoughts change, I will update this review. For now though, HyperX is going to be the first place I go to when I need new PC components.
