This bundle includes 2 items: (1) Hypro 3350-0043P Nylon Line Strainer with (1) 1700-0044 Buna O-Ring.
The Hypro 3350 Series Line Strainers filter out debris that may be drawn into your pump. Well-suited for suction and higher pressure applications, these strainers achieve up to 150 psi at 70° F and 100 psi at 125° F. The cap on the Hypro 3350-0043P Line Strainer / Suction Strainer is made with white type 6 nylon and the bowl is made with clear polyamide material so you can visually inspect without disassembling.
The inlet side of the pump is where the line strainer should be installed. If you are installing on a centrifugal pump, the inlet or discharge side is where the line strainer should be installed, but you must consider the strainer's flow capacity, pressure rating, and other installation factors. NOTE: Clear polyamide bowls are CANNOT be used for handling alcohol.
Unscrew the bowl from the cap, remove the screen, and flush sediment away to clean the strainer without removing it from the line. To reassemble, fit the screen to the flange in the bowl and turn hand tight. NOTE: NOT for fatigue-loading applications (eg. water-softeners).

The cup is opaque, not clear. Hoping for a quick resolution to this. Other than that, the item is as described, but the clear bottom is critical for my application.
