I needed something to get the HAM radio in my Jeep on the air, and the other antenna I had scoped out seemed to have the order just disappear into the ether, so after four day of waiting I cancelled that order and got this one coming. I cut the 90 degree side off the antenna and tossed the supplied mounting hardware in the trash. Used my drill press to drill out three new holes on the top edge of the NMO mount and used that to mark out three corresponding holes on the fender lip of my JK. Drilled those three holes with a standard cordless drill and popped in three M4 rivnuts which allowed me to use nice M4 bolts to solidly mount it to my fender.Pros:-Inexpensive-Solid build quality-Versatile use-Decent Tx/Rx from my experience and signal reports.Cons:-Quarter Wave-Absolutely poor mounting solution (its a couple screws and drywall anchors)-Coax end is already on, which means big holes are required or cutting and resoldering. The main thing was it worked for getting me on the air and in reality the price of an NMO mount is not much cheaper, and most fancy antennas won't come with the mount, so in the future I will be a step ahead. Definitely worth it if you are in a pinch. I'm getting great range with it and a 20W radio in pretty mountainous land.

Holds up well on my truck, ended up using a longer piece of coax to run it from the back corner to my radio inside the cab but I knew that going in.One piece of advice to other potential buyers is to use some blue loctite once you've tuned the antenna in order to keep the set screws (in the mount) from walking themselves out and getting lost on the highway.
