I bought these carabiners to use with lanyards while skiing to leash various items to my clothes or ski pack. For instance, I leash my cell phone via this carabiner and attach a separate lanyard to make sure it doesn’t get separated from me. For something small, these are great. They are not very high quality, however, and are not meant for load bearing. So make sure you are using them for just smaller items.

These carabiners are numerous and small. I kind of wonder if I was sent the wrong product, but on checking the product listing there are not any dimensions shown or number of carabiners listed, so it is what it is.These are nicely made, typical carabiners. The price seems decent for the quantity sent (I got 20). They are very lightweight - likely made from aluminum - and are not meant to say... organize your collection of loose wrenches (what I was hoping to do). These are more appropriate for holding a water bottle on a backpack, a collapsible dog bowl on a bag, keys, or -insert other light duty task here-.

The seller really needs to work on their description for this! There is nothing in the description about the size or the quantity. Based on the picture with their description, I was expecting 4x 4" carabiner clips. Instead, I got 20x 2" clips. I guess 20 of these for $10 is not a bad deal & I'm sure I will use them for something, but they were not what I was after. They seem to be descent quality, but being small & lightweight, I think they are probably only good for 5lb or less.

The listing photo is a bit deceiving, and as of the time of this review there is nothing that says what the dimensions are or how many you will receive. So I was surprised to get a box of 20 small carabiners and had to double check as to what I ordered.Personally, they are a good size for my purposes. I wanted them for securing small items and they are great for that purpose. They seem sturdy and are easy to operate one-handed, but I certainly wouldn’t use them for climbing or for securing anything large &/or heavy

If there’s one thing I learned about ordering online, is that the advertisements always seem to make the items appear larger than what you receive. That is the case here. Although smaller than anticipated there are still plenty of uses for a lightweight carabiner. I use then on my backpack to attach different accessories, so I appreciate the lightweight of them. I use then on a yard cart that has a wire mesh bottom as an anchor point for a strap to hold branches in place. They are definitely durable enough for most tasks. I also appreciate that this order comes with 20 so if I lose a couple here and there I still have more than enough replacements on hand.
