Plugged this gadget into my router, which feeds a Naim NAP250 NC and an NSC222 streamer/pre-amp. Immediately noticed an uplift in sonics after just a few days of 24 hour constant music playing. So far so good in MY system. If it stays like this or improves further then definitely worth the outlay.

je n'étais pas sceptique quand aux résultats possible , un peu perplexe tout de même ! je l'ai branché en premier lieu sur la box tv d'Orange et j'ai tout de suite trouvé l'image plus douce , plus fluide , des couleurs moins " heurtantes" avec l'impression d'une meilleure netteté , d'une image moins " poussiéreuse". fort de ce premier constat positif , je l'ai branché en entrée de l'ordinateur qui me sert pour écouter les radios internet. L'amélioration est plus subtile , moins évidente au premier abord. Il suffit de l'enlever pour se rendre compte que son apport est bien réel !

Difficile à dire s'il y a vraiment une différence car j'ai un autre filtre avant de passer par celui là un multi-connection. Je pense qu'il est conseillé de ne pas mettre un câble trop rigide sinon le bout du filtre (rj45) se décolle facilement après un certain temps ! Personnelement je trouve le plasque un peu léger pour le prix !

I was using it between incoming signal Ethernet and my WiiM Pro, hoping to get nice improvement like some reviews said. Maybe the rest of my system is god enough (Nordost Heimdall 2 Ethernet, Nordost Valhalla coaxial cable link to Chord Qutest, Nordost TYR RCA cables to my Musical Fidelity A3 cr pre-power amp separate, QED Genesis Silver Spiral speaker cable to B&W 805s speaker, etc.), in the end there is no difference at least no meaningful difference, at all. So I returned it, Amazon has painless hassle free return process which is the highlight of my experience in this case.

I am using one between my modem and router, where it tightens and cleans up the sound from Qobuz. I will buy another one today for my NAS/desktop system. My only criticism is that the RJ45 connector is hard to remove from some LAN ports.

First, let me tell you about the system this is being used on. The power for my system runs through a hospital grade outlet into Furman PST-8 Digital Power Station power conditioner/surge protector, and from there into a Cullen Cable Gold Series power cord. The wired signal is carried via a Cat 8 Ethernet Cable. Both are fed into a NAD C700 Integrated Amp with built in BluOS Streaming. The Acoustic Zen Satori speaker cables are used to feed sound into Monitor Audio Silver RS-6 tower speakers. Prior to the installation of the iFi LAN iSilencer I was experiencing solid and great Mid-Fi sound, streaming Hi-Res Qobuz with neutral, clear detail. I must state that I was skeptical of the iFi LAN iSilencer actually making any difference and was fully expecting to return it after I tried it. To my surprise after installing it into the LAN port of the C700 and plugging the ethernet cable into the end of it, the sound became smoother and warmer while still being very detailed, with better stereo separation of voices and instruments, and better sound staging. Was it a night and day difference? No, but it was an obvious difference and well worth the under hundred dollar cost. With nothing to lose to try it, it’s a no brainer!

I do notice a slight difference with this device, the sound seems to be a little cleaner, not huge night and day difference but it does seem to help.

I used this on the ethernet input of my Raspberry Pi audio streamer setup with a digital transport HAT. I listened carefully and it does make a significant difference here. This was a great upgrade after I have already worked to clean up the electrical noise as much as possible with an ifi power supply and grounding of my pi. But no separate power or isolation of the HAT. By adding this device, I lost the remaining glare or harshness to the sound, I can hear deeper into the mix, and there is just a sense of ease to the music that wasn’t there before. This is not as noticeable streaming off of the internet (Spotify) as it is listening to uncompressed audio directly from a server on my system. FLAC and WAV files sound the best. Much more air and flow. It has brought a sound I didn’t think I would be able to get from a RPi setup. I run the RPi into a Chord Mojo 2 via coax to my highly rated Cambridge Audio Azur 851A amplifier and out to KEF LS50 speakers. I have been mightily impressed with what ifi’s devices can help do!!

After installing to my gustard r26 sounds became more cleaner with more details I don't know how it works but effect sound quality by much well done....
