I cannot comment on THESE batteries because they have only in the phones for a couple of weeks. I bought thereplacements several years ago (at lest 7 years), and put them in our 2000-era phones and they worked great. When I replace these batteries for another round, I will send another review.One of the great things about Amazon. is that you can find replacement parts for old items. AND if they don't work out, they can be returned.

Bought this iMah "compatible" /BT262342 "replacement for BT283342" as required in VTech CS6719-2, but found these only run for HALF THE TIME of the original, side-by-side. Yes, it turns out that the original GE30679 is labeled as 550 mAh, and this one is only 300 mAh. So, claiming "compatible" does NOT mean "equivalent". If you need full capacity, spend the extra few dollars for one with equivalent or better ampacity; at least as big as the original 550. Cheaper at the local store. Now we know, and so do you.

This is an excellent product. I was initially hesitant to purchase. However, once I received the product,I was extremely pleased. This is what I placed in my grandmother's home phones. She has dementia and can barely walk, so when we would leave her, we would hand her the phone so she wouldn't have to get up. But the phone kept dying after about 2 hours, and after I replaced the batteries, it can now remain off the hook for 4 to 5 hours, if not longer. This product really did exceeded my expectations.
