Being a refrigeration mechanic i have delt with several different types of controllers, this one for the price is great for your average style cooler and or heating system. It was very fast delivery too.

My old wine cellar refrigeration unit had a bad thermostat. This fixed it in pinch. It even has compressor protection !

I bought 3 of these InkBird ITC 1000F controllers. One didn't work properly when installed. I wrote the vendor who emailed back within an hour, and asked for a video. I did that. I think that was a Friday. Monday the new one arrived. You can't ask for better than that. Courteous, fast, friendly. Thanks so much. I have all three working now. I use them in a solar heated radiant floor heating system. One balances heat between two tanks; one dumps excess heat into the house; one dumps excess heat down the drain when it gets too close to boiling. And a great price!

I like how it’s reliable, reasonably easy to use and compact. I’ve used them for controlling circulation pumps, fans, etc. anything 10 amps or less like it’s rated. I think it’s really good for that small $22 price tag on it. It always works, never fails and is a good what I call technical thermostat. Why I say this is because you can adjust all different parameters on it for heating and cooling units. This is best used for machines or science experiments. Not really for heating or cooling your house.

I have bought several temperature controllers over the last 5 years or so.This particular one is pretty much that safest and best, most robust controller for all kinds of operations. (mine is for both refrigeration and also heating elements in a continuous band sealer.)I bought 3, REX-C100's and every one of them popped due to the terrible wiring diagrams provided by the manufacturer! (The REX C-100 is manufactured in Japan. English is most definitely not the first language of the interpreters they use!!!!!) I even went so far as to HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT TO PURCHASE the REX C-100. At $35 each, it becomes extremely frustrating when hooked up according to diagrams that the units fry within seconds!!!This Inkbird controller is robust and easy to set up. Although it has Chinese instruction for the wiring diagram, it is fairly easy to understand and hook up and program.I'm quite happy with buying this unit. I would recommend it to others.

I use Inkbird temperature controllers for my Keezer, presently I am using the ITC-308 which is also great. I will be swapping that out for this more compact and integrated controller. This will both look great on the front of the Keezer as well as perform exactly as needed, these little controllers are workhorses and do exactly what you need them to.Comes with a nice long cable on the temperature probe which is really nice and the instructions are clear and easy to follow. There are also tons of great videos online explaining how to hook this up for different purposes.Inkbird comes through again with a great little controller for my brewing needs.

Wonderful piece of electronics for a great price- with one proviso. Throw the instructions in the bin and find one of the excellent YouTube videos on wiring it up and then setting it up. Then you will be as amazed as I was at how this can be so good at the price. Once it's all set up it's very easy to change the target temperature and when you have run through an AutoTune cycle it will hold the target temperature very tightly- way more than I need for my smoker but that's not a complaint!

I built a keezer with a 9" collar and wanted to be able to control the temperature. I've seen plenty of examples of the inkbird attached to the back, or in the motor compartment. But I figured since I have a collar I might as well build it right in. Cut a rectangular hole into the wood and fit this in. This particular model was designed to be inserted into something.I have the sensor dangling into a large jug of water in the keezer to keep the temperature stable and avoid wild temp swings when opening and closing the lid. Works great this way.It works great and has been in service for about 6 months already. I depend on this thing to keep my homemade beer at the perfect temperature and it does that well. This is now my 2nd inkbird (I use the other one to control a fermentation fridge) and it probably wont be my last.
