This makes quick and easy work of checking semi trailer light cord (7-way) cables. Easy to not only check the operation of the lights but the condition of the pins inside the connector, I use it everytime I perform a federal inspection on a customer unit.

I needed this a few weeks ago and didn’t have it. But once I got it and needed it again, it did exactly what it’s supposed to. It helped me track down a short in my light cord within a few minutes that actual truck mechanics couldn’t find.

This it’s excellent tool for owner operator that switch daily Chassis intermodal , you get to diagnose the problem ASAP light or cable or connector. Really dependable and reliable something that you must have in your toolbox

I have used this at work every day for months and it has not yet failed me. I don't use the little cleaning rods much, but the diagnostic light connector is great. The pins come loose over time but they can easily be tightened with a flat head screwdriver.
