This is such a simple gadget but it works perfectly. It fits a wide range of jar lids and pops them open. It’s a simple mechanical principle. Sometimes you just need a little leverage. Easy to clean, easy to store, and super handy. This would make a great stocking stuffer or gift basket addition.

One day, I suddenly found I was in my eighties; my grip and strength were somewhat diminished. I have no problems opening a bottle of whatever nor a can of sardines, two of the multi-functions this product offer. Besides finding it somewhat difficult to peel off that protective seal on a bottle of orange juice with my fingernails, I find it difficult to unscrew a lid that seems glued to a jar. Compared to my two other jar openers, this one comes in a distant third. The rubber strip on just one side of the inside of the device and the limited leverage length just doesn't work for me. The included magnet is very weak; the opener slides down the refrigerator door. In my opinion, this device is poorly designed and overpriced.
