Is it me or a jars lids getting tighter? When I bought this I threw it in a drawer with little thought to using it until I came across a jar of canned pasta sauce. You know the kind I mean the one in the canning looking jar with the lid so tight you feel it's been glued on. Pull this out of the drawer, wrapped it around that lid and heard the pop it open on the first try. After that I tried it on a bottle of soda with a plastic lid no problem. In short this opens lids of various sizes and the bottle opener is extra value. The only caveat that I have is if you have problems with your hand grip this may not be for you.

I was having problems opening the plastic drink bottles that I have buying. A friend suggested one of these all in one bottle openers and I bought one and I really am happy with the sturdiness of it and it sure does the job the first time. No more constant trying to get the bottle open. Very happy with the product. The can opener is also very easy to operate and adjusts so well to different sizes of cans with no problem at all. Not at all clunky to hold for any age of user.

I like that you get two different items when you buy this and both seemed very promising..sturdy and not cheap. The smaller gadget works nice but the bigger jar griper doesnt even fit on most basic jar lids...unless your jar is a teeny jam jar its pretty much useless... and that is the biggest setting (it has four) so overall not what I wanted/needed and not that versatile

I have had issues with opening jars and this one works better than others I've tried. It is, however, a bit clumsy for senior's (I am one) hands.

I simply cannot open jars without assistance. The big one works on any size and the small one work very well on opening pop bottles.
