Two Spring Buttons
Two spring buttons allow you to cover only half of the storage boxes and retain the function of the cup holder. With a light pull, the storage box can also be completely closed.
Anti-slip Mats
The anti-slip mats makes your things stably on the storage box.
Non-slip Sponge
The sponge on both sides can increase the friction with Center Console to prevent the storage box from sliding around.

Fits perfectly in 2016 X. Lookswise it matches the interior well, and I still have access to the deeper compartment by lifting it out easily.

I like the unit mostly. And I appreciate the rubber inserts. But the bumps in it are aggressive. If you want to open or close the sliding cover past them, it feels and sounds like you’re going to break something. Also important to note only smaller phones will fit in the tray. If you have a MAX size iPhone or anything similar, it won’t fit.

There are a bunch of little cubby holders available for the model 3 and model y, but this is my favorite... I LOVVVVEEEE having a little place for my J1772 adapter. It doesn't roll and bump around in my center console any more! It just makes it so convenient. This should be your very first stop when getting little interior accessories for your Model 3 for sure!... Other than that there isn't much I can say about it, it is just a good quality piece for the center cubby of your Tesla.
