The rivets are hard to insert, short stroke and rivet nails don't fit well. After you finish, the nail gets stuck inside and if you try to use another rivet to get it out, that one gets stuck. The nail won't eject, that is why I gave it a 1 star review. I didn't test the threaded inserts, they likely are fine. This is not a very productive rivet gun, get a Kline or Craftmen for the real tool.

Reasonably packaged. Unfortunately the 6-32 is not usable. Not enough thread engagement for the rivnut and it will just pull the threads out. Only tested with the provided steel rivnuts. Aluminum is a possibility. 10-24 worked fine. Haven't tested anything else. Otherwise the kit feels reasonably solid for the price. Shame with the slight oversight. Those with a lathe could fix the issues of thread engagement.

I like it its versatile and does a decent job. Limited to what size of rivet nuts you can use. Wish there were more options for thar like metric and standard in all sizes.Instruction book was ok.

I want to start off by saying that I was quite pleased with the apparent quality of this rivet gun. The unit is all metal construction with the exception of the upper head flange cover which is plastic. The plastic is very thick and well constructed however and I don't feel that it will be giving out at any point in time. The plastic part is strictly cosmetic and anything structural is metal. The pivoting head is a absolute worker's dream. Anyone who has installed rivets on any given day, has come across a situation where the gun just can't get into the working space due to the inflexible nature of the rivet gun. But this pivoting head is a game changer. As long as you have room for the head, the handle can be outside of the project and still function perfectly. This is definitely one of my favourite features of this rivet gun. I have to be honest here and say that I only got the rivet gun for installing pop rivets but I was very pleased to see its other features. The ability to install threaded rivet nuts in my projects made this tools even more likeable. I have never installed threaded rivet nuts before but the manual was clear about how to convert the rivet gun into a nut tool and the operation of it was flawless. The conversion of the gun was quick and easy and the small cases that hold the different parts needed for the conversions are very clearly labelled, making it pretty much foolproof. The case that the rivet gun comes in reminds me of a double sided, light tackle box but the compartments are custom sized to fit the gun and every accessory that it comes with. The case holds everything securely in place in a tight and compact setup that would be an asset to any tool chest. I got this rivet gun to replace my old and failing gun and I definitely got way more than I hoped for. A great tool.

This is a well made very sturdy Rivet nut tool. The tool works very smoothly and with very little effort. What I really like is the 360 degree rotating head. I was building a radiator housing from sheet aluminum in a vehicle and some of the angels were hard to reach but by being able to rotate the head I managed to add several nuts without having to remove a bunch of in the way stuff! You can use the tool to install pop rivets and there is also a reamer attachment. They call it a reamer which was confusing until I used the what I call nibbler because it is designed to cut small notches in sheet metal. It works very well and easy. A tool for the professional!

This is no cheap discount tool.It is a solidly constructed body with a good heft that feels like it's up to any task. Interchangeable heads for different size rivet and rivet nuts. This system provides a much better way to install rivet nuts than crushing them manually. A fantastic 3 in 1 tool, but ....What really makes this rivet gun ingenious is the rotating head that makes it incredibly easy to fit into awkward and tight spaces at almost any angle. I can't believe I've never seen this design before. it's so simple yet so effective.The rubber grip makes working with it very easy and comfortable even under pressure.This is well worth the price.

Works perfectly as a rivet gun.I haven't used for other things...I would have to experiment how to do it.The handles are far apart more than I can grip, so for me, it is a two-hand job.No instructions provided.It is difficult to get the snapped stem buried deep in the grip mechanism.How to remove it: Use another rivet to push the snapped stem out the rear of the device.

very strong puts rivets in with ease and tread nuts, works best if you do each thread nut in 3 separate pumps, but it puts them in very tight and the handles are very strong but if try to do thread nuts in one pump they might bend if your strong enough , best rivet machine i have ever owned i would buy again
