JOYO Guitar Pedal Power Supply Adapter 12V DC 1.5A Input AC 100-240V 50/60Hz
Introduction:
Input: AC 100-240V 50-60Hz, 0.6A.
Output: 12V DC, 1.5A, 18.0W, Tip Negative (-) design.
5 way cable daisy chain could power supply for 5 pedals at the same time. Reverse polarity with converter cable fit for guitar effect pedal and keyboard.
Smart and Professional IC chip for noise reduction and isolation safe protection performance.
Could work for most brands of guitar effect pedals also be used to power keyboards.
With a professional low-noise switching power supply integration solution, it is high-efficient and low-consumption DC adapter
Use a new high-frequency and low-resistance smart IC filter capacitor to filter out AC noise. The internal filter inductor is a clean and stable DC power for the output, and it has a good inhibitory effect on electromagnetic radiation interference.
With Precise plug-in and chip component design and production, the power supply is more stable. The output line is made of good PVC + pure copper core technology with good insulation and low impedance.
The output port adopts the tuning fork groove plug for better contact and short circuit protection. With protection of short circuit, overcurrent, overheat, overload , the power supply work is safer.
All materials meet ROHS environmental requirements;CE, FCC, ETL, and etc certified.
Package included:
1pc JOYO Power Supply Adapter 12V DC 1.5A,
1pc 5 Way Daisy Chain Pedal Cables(4.92FT).
1pc Reverse Polarity Cable(0.63FT)

It works as it should but feels a little cheap. Cable is really too short to be useful without an extension chord.

Hard to really say much about a power adapter that works. I grabbed this to chain 2 guitar pedals together and it does the job. The voltage is a little higher than intended for these pedals, but it's consistent for analog equipment as they can tolerate it (given the polarity is correct). Overall, solid product.

Rookie guitar player here. I purchased a few pedals and power chords, and ordered this as a back up and in hopes of reducing the number of wires overall. It turns out all of my pedals use 9V and not 12V, and I read online that you should not use 12V with 9V pedals (I originally thought it was more volts because it was powering more, but that's not how it works). I also looked online for 12V pedals, and while they do exist, they don't seem very common. This is my fault and not the chords fault, but I hope you can learn from my rookie mistake. That said, if you want a 12V chord this has a lot of things going for it. First, it is long (maybe 10 feet total with about 1/2 being the main cord and the rest being the adapters). It also has 5 connectors (so it can power up to 5 pedals). The separate daisy chain connects to a main cord, so it can also be used to power just a single cord without all the extra wiring.

I've already got a product like this which only requires one outlet to provide power to multiple small effects boxes (commonly called "stompbox" for guitarist, but my EHX Analog Delay is also like this as are numerous small pro audio signal processors) - this type of design is ideal, big improvement over requiring an outlet and separate adapter for each box. What's weird with this particular product is that it's rated as 12V while 9V is the standard. Perhaps the 'Keyboard Digital Piano' for which it was most specifically designed is rated for 12V but I read the description carefully and it indicated that this should work for most effect boxes - and that was true. I tested it with several of mine and they operated correctly, I only plugged them in for a few seconds because I was afraid that possibly the 12V (3 more volts than these products are rated for) could be an issue. I'm not an electrical engineer, it may be fine (having different amperage I know not to be an issue from experience, I've been told for amperage the device will only 'draw' what it can; polarity, however, must be correct and you cannot use a 'center positive' power supply with these devices even if the voltage and amperage and connector size are identical. It would've been helpful if the manufacturer could have listed the specific make/model or UPC product# of devices which it has tested and confirmed are compatible with this because even if it had just mentioned one or two stompboxes any guitarist who uses them regularly would easily infer that it'd work for all/most, they follow a standard just like in the US the wall outlet will always be 120V (or within the allowed margin of fluctuation). Or they could've included this information in the manual. Without any assurance, consumers would rightfully feel afraid to use it with products which it seems to be perfectly compatible with.

I received this product free of charge as part of the Vines product evaluation program. This JOYO adapter was selected to pair with a JOYO clean boost pedal. It is a standard AC adapter that is rated for 18w. I selected it because, while the JOYO pedal is a great bargain option, battery changes are challenging because you need tools to open the pedal. This adapter arrived in a nondescript box with the only branding being the name "JOYO" typed on the adhesive barcode label, so I assume it is made by a 3rd party.THE GOOD: It is somewhat compact. It can work as an adapter for a single pedal, but it also includes a daisy chain to operate up to 5 pedals. The cords don't feel overly cheap- they seem like they will hold up if handled respectfully.THE BAD: As is almost always the case with AC adapters, it will take up more than one space on a power strip- I wish all adapters came with a few inches of regular cord so that they could easily fit into a wall outlet or power strip. Most importantly, I detect a bit of noise when I plug in that wasn't present when using just the battery. This could be my outlets or it could be the adapter. It is faint, but definitely present.OVERALL: it works well to power the pedal and will save on batteries and the pain of getting tools out to change batteries; however, it takes up more than one outlet space and introduces a little noise. Overall, decent but not exceptional.
