The set comes with a T5 and T6 torx screwdriver bits. I used a T4 from my own set to entirely disassemble the controller.Be sure to watch multiple videos to learn how to replace it.After completion I no longer had stick drift, but i noticed in my quest settings that the natural rest position of my controller is not at (0,0) and it's off-center the left a bit. I don't know if the replacement piece is defective, or I need a new spring but I made a small deadzone in the quest3 controller settings to bypass this issue and avoid re-opening it for now.

The screwdriver this product provides is not the one shown in the photo, and does not come with the attachment to remove the screws near the top of the controller. Complete waste of time and money, do not buy this.

I recently purchased the joystick replacement kit for my Oculus Quest 2, and I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. My son had been struggling with a faulty joystick that would spin uncontrollably, causing him to miss out on playing his favorite game, "I AM SECURITY." Arrived fast af and worked perfectly. Only downside is you have to completely disassemble the controller to replace the part. So only buy if your comfortable with doing that. As for the product itself, i love it.

I had my reservations at first about buying this but turned out to be a great product. You definitely need to find a video online to help you with the replacement as there are some tricky aspects to it. The tools included with this kit worked but I had other tools that came in handy too. But once I replaced the joysticks on my sons Oculus they worked great haven't had an issue yet, he was very impressed his mom could fix them. lol. Really good product at a great price.

Das Joystick Ersatz-Set für die Oculus Quest 2 ist ein wirklich hochwertiges Reparaturkit. Es enthält alles, was man für die Reparatur und den Ausbau des Controllers benötigt, inklusive passendem Werkzeug.Einziger Kritikpunkt: Die Anleitung im Lieferumfang hätte deutlich besser sein können. Ich musste mir ein YouTube-Video suchen, um die Reparatur erfolgreich durchzuführen. Ein Link zu einem Tutorial oder einer besseren Anleitung wäre hier hilfreich gewesen.Abgesehen davon bin ich sehr zufrieden und würde das Set definitiv weiterempfehlen.

I was one of the people who received the wrong size Torx with my kit, fortunately I have my own tools and completed the replacement on one controller, my other one is still fine so I'll hang onto the other stick til it's needed. Afterwards however I calibrated the stick and it was still drifted down and to the right a little. Had to add some deadzone to it and it does the trick, but I wouldn't buy this same kit again. This was a fairly involved repair, not recommended for someone who has zero experience doing something like this.

This product worked great. I replaced my old controller unit. It was not a simple process. Check out some of the on line tutorials. You will need it step by step. Once the replacement was completed it worked great. Saved me from buying a new controller for almost $200.

Works perfectly stopping annoying stick drift. Much cheaper than replacing your remote. Agree it’s a fiddly job to replace but there are a few good YouTube videos and the tools supplied are all you need. Comes with x2 so you can repair both remotes or just one. Tip when installing it’s easier to remove both ends of the ribbon cable than try and persist . You’ll know what I mean when you reach that point . Takes about 1hr to complete the job
