These J.R. Moon pencils are of outstanding quality and so fun! The designs are printed directly onto the pencil rather than the pencil just being wrapped in a colorful plastic sleeve, so these ones don't jam up the sharpener. They sharpen smoothly, the lead doesn't break, they write well and erase well.These silver glittery 'Happy Birthday' pencils are an absolute hit with the littles in class! These pencils are better in person than they are in photos...I was surprised when I got them to find they are metalic shiny and sparkly. I have three birthdays coming up all for friends who are artists of some sort or other...so I will tape thes pencils to the fronts of their gift boxes as some extra little decor presents...my BD is coming up as well so I think I will keep one for myself! They are quite pleasing.
