These fender covers are decent for the price. I think they will work just find but I only gave them 4 stars becasue I was expecting them to be a little thicker with padding. They do have a soft felt-like material on the back side so they don't scratch the paint and the other side is a vinyl material but I question the durability. The vinyl seems soft and can posibly scatch easily so it's something to be aware of when using them. I'm used them several times now and had good results. Th built in magnets are nice but not super powerful so I was glad there are attached hooks as well.Overall, they are nice mats and will get the job done but I do see there are others out there at a cheaper price.

My boyfriend is always working on his car or truck and commented he has worried about accidentally scratching the paint, even though he is careful when leaning over a fender. When I saw these JSCARLIFE Automotive Magnetic Fender Cover, 3pcs, Size M, become available, I immediately ordered a set. The 7 peg hooks are 2" plastic. The Polyurethane pads are very thin and cheap. They have a felt-like material underneath that lays on top of the fender. A total of 13, half-inch, thin magnets are sewn inside along the pad tops. Surprisingly, I was able to hang a pad from its magnets when I stuck it to my stainless-steel refrigerator; so, the magnets will help keep the pads in place and not slide off the fender. The Product Page says, "Fender cover is made of soft cloth scratch resistant backing which protects your paint finish from scratches and damages during automotive repair work and maintenance work." My boyfriend won't trust these are puncture-proof enough and will still remove his belt with buckle. These fender pads are just adequate and better than no fender protection at all.UPDATE 2 Months Later: My boyfriend needed to find a leak in his antique truck and wanted to inspect the hoses and gaskets under the hood. He took his belt off so the buckle would not scratch his paint. Then he remembered he had a JSCARLIFE Automotive Fender Cover. He laid it along the side and told me later that it was good that he could use it. The buttons or zipper on his shorts could have scratched when he leaned against the truck. In the past, he's used a towel or blanket, but they don't always stay put. This fender cover did not shift or slide around. For this reason, I'm changing my review from 3 to 4 stars.
