Excellent sound quality, excellent call quality too (other side hears me clearly without robotic voice or anything else bad)... but the volume is too low - compared to the offerings by Anker, Beats and Monster, the volume of these is so low that on a busy street walking I cannot hear the earbuds at all over the honking of cars or people speaking loudly next to me. So while you should be able to hear your surroundings with these, the volume being so low the surroundings (at urban sound levels) will drown out the sound. So its a fail for me and they are being returned.

Absolutely love this open ear ear-pods. My job forces me to constantly be on the phone while on the field and I have been looking for a practical solution that I can wear for 8 to 11 hours (my normal work day) without causing me discomfort or pain. Over the years I have tried many different ear pieces: ear pods, headphones, earphones and bone conducting headphones... you name it. This JVCs are it. They pair easily, you can use one or both ears with great results in both configurations, the sound is very clear and the mic pics my voice neatly (I have not had any complaints from interlocutors about excessive background noise or lack of clarity in my voice), and most important of all, I can wear these all day long, every day, without any discomfort at all. Thank you JVC.If these are the qualities you are looking for in a pair of ear pods, you can't go wrong with these.

These are a 9.5 out of 10 for me. I listen to music many times a day needed something that I could keep on for multiple hours. I have very small ears so (in ear headphones) give me a ton of ear fatigue within 30 minutes and almost all of them fall out very very often. I was looking at the Bose open ear but decided to try JVC because I've had the brand in the past and they were solid. I can tell you that I'm very happy with this purchase. Pros: These are very comfortable for my ears. I have even forgotten I had them on when I only had one on at a time. They charge pretty fast. They use USB C, the color green teal color is so nice it makes me want to get a second color. They are not touch sensitive, they 2 buttons, the sound quality is a 8.5 at best. There isn't enough base but everything is clear and when your just lounging these actually sound perfect. Cons: lacking in sound, any environment with more than a few sounds, phone ringing, few people talking, fans, walking, TV on low. The sound gets lost and looses alot of its oompfh. For the price I got these at 69$ on sale I am very satisfied. They easily worth the 100$. Lastly, if your gonna get and your not sure on a color. Try a bold one. These are beautiful.

I've been using these for a month and can say I've gotten enough time with them to feel I made a very good purchase with no regrets. Initially, I was unsure if they would be able to replace my Pixel Buds Pro and I was right to be unsure. For starters, these don't have noise cancelling which can definitely come in handy in very noisy scenarios and I wouldn't recommend using these if you're wearing a beanie or anything that will cover your ears. With that out of the way, the sound quality is okay with these. It's not the best, but the fact that I can wear these for over 8 straight hours with NO fatigue is mind-blowing. I can turn them up loud enough to hear my music over multiple people speaking over each other at the same time. My ears don't get itchy or sweaty from prolonged use and that alone makes them an absolute daily essential for me. What's even better is that I can have a conversation without taking them off. Transparency mode exists, yeah, but it's never as good as being able to have close to full situational awareness. The battery lasts all day for me and I don't even need to recharge after using both earbuds at the same time for my 8 hour shifts. The app is OK and offers some nice options for customizing button presses as there are physical buttons in lieu of pesky touch controls on both buds, but is not necessary. I can only NOT reccomend these for anything involving phone calls as it seems to change how the sound is processed and it becomes kind of ear-piercing to have prolonged conversations. This includes voice chatting with Discord as well: anything involving the microphone seems to make the sound output really weird. I will say that my friends didn't mind the microphone quality, which surprised me. For videos and gaming, they do offer a low-latency mode, albeit the app is required to enable it.TL;DRGreat for extended use. Not the loudest, but loud enough. Able to have conversations and hear surroundings well. Incredibly comfortable and I love the design. Calls sound kind of awful, but is nice in a pinch. Low-latency mode available with app.

These are perfect for my work place! I can listen to what I want and still remain safe. They are comfortable and stay in place. Sound is clear, but if you’re looking to listen to anything really loud these might not be for you as they are not noise cancelling. Simple and easy controls.

These are awesome for work. I work in an office with many other people, I like that I can still hear what’s going on but things are way less distracting. I can wear them all day and sometimes I forget they are in. My ears are super sensitive and regular earbuds bother me, but these are perfect. I have ASD, and these really help out when I need to focus on my work, and they don't cause me any sensory issues, silicon or in ear earbuds felt too invasive for me. The volume is perfect, not too loud but enough you can drown out the world without missing important things. Also very light weight, and stay on super well! I have larger ears and they fit great without any discomfort.

A few days after the return window closed, the earbuds stopped disconnecting from the phone and charging when placed in the case. Unit had not been dropped, charging points were kept clean, etc. Will not be purchasing from this brand in the future.

The mic is excellent, audio is decent for the price.Unfortunately, the battery drains way faster than advertised. Have done several tests, after fully charged, the battery could last around 3-4hour before the right earbud running out of juice while the left one about 30%.The customer service from JVC Canada is NOT helpful at all, by suggesting cracking the earbud to get a replacement but without any technical support.

A well designed and built product. Earbuds are well designed and good for an all day wear. Battery life is good. Ears buds are magnetically designed in a way that each side will only fit in it's assigned slot.Sound quality is acceptable though the volume could have been a bit louder. It can connect with 2 devices at the same time.Happy with the product.

Really pleased with these! Nice style, gets compliments. Clips comfortably, doesn't slide off, doesn't pinch. Music sounds clear. Works well for phone calls too! Highly recommend these even at their relatively high price point of $150.Update: 2 months later and these are my go-to. I like them better than my AirPods Pro and re omens them to anyone. And the battery life! Incredible!

IntroductionJVC steps into the open ear space with the HA-NP1T, and I have to admit, this model is easily the best looking ear ring style open ear earbuds on the market, hands down. The design ensures that it always sits properly in your ears, which is a major plus. When you first put these on, you’re greeted by a pleasant female voice telling you the device is on, ready for pairing, or connected to “Device 1” or “Device 2.” Additionally, the internal voice will notify you when the battery gets low and needs charging.ComfortThe HA-NP1T is exceptionally comfortable to wear, and you’ll often forget you have it on. I never experienced slippage or the earbuds falling out during use and It’s very light weight. This earns a 5 out of 5 for comfort.DesignThe HA-NP1T is a ring style earbud that is well built. It features hard shell plastic ends with a silver or gold trim for the ring loop depending on your color choice. As I mentioned earlier, this is the best looking model on the market, so I’m giving it a 5 out of 5 for design.FeaturesThe HA-NP1T supports multipoint connections, allowing you to connect to two devices simultaneously and switch between them instantly. It supports SBC and AAC codecs, uses Bluetooth 5.3, and has an IPX4 water resistance rating. Additionally, it includes a low latency mode, which is great for gaming.ButtonsI love the clickable buttons. No accidental presses here. You’ll find two buttons on the back side of the earbuds that work great and are fully customizable in the app.Battery LifeThe earbuds provide 8 hours of continuous playback, with two additional charges from the case (16 hours), for a total of 24 hours. This is more than enough for daily use.AppThe JVC Headphones app allows you to update the firmware when available and provides two independent volume profiles for music and phone calls. The sound settings offer three presets: Normal, High, and Bass. Additionally, the control settings give you full customization of the earbud buttons, which is a big plus. However, I wish the app included a manual EQ instead of the presets, as this limits its potential. I’ll give the app a 4 out of 5, mainly because the lack of a manual EQ is holding it back.Sound & Call QualityThe sound quality is the most important aspect, and the HA-NP1T delivers a bright sound signature. The highs are very detailed and resolve minute nuances that other earbuds might miss. Hi-hats, cymbals, and background layers of music all come through clearly. You might even discover new elements in songs you’ve listened to for years. That said, the bass is where the design struggles. Since these are open ear earbuds, the bass is inherently lower compared to sealed earbuds. Even compared to other open ear models, the bass is weaker. If JVC added a manual EQ, it would allow users to fine tune the sound and enhance the bass to their preference. I’ll give the sound quality a 3.5 out of 5. The highs are fantastic, but the lack of bass leaves an unbalanced foundation. The call quality is good. I had no issues making calls in both quiet and noisy environments. Interestingly, during calls, I noticed the volume would automatically adjust when transitioning between noisy and quiet surroundings. I’m not sure if this is an added feature, but it was helpful.ConnectionThe connection was good, but during music playback I encountered hiccups with the connection periodically. Perhaps a future firmware update can fix this.ConclusionThe JVC HA-NP1T is a solid contender in the open ear earbud market. Its standout design, comfort, and detailed sound signature make it a great choice for those who prioritize highs and clarity. The multipoint connectivity, customizable buttons, and thoughtful app features add to its appeal. However, the bass performance and the lack of a manual EQ hold it back from being truly exceptional big time.
