I'm a delivery driver and end up on gravel roads and driveways A LOT. Unfortunately, this causes a whole lot of nicks in the paint on my car - and that's not mentioning the standard scratches that come with parking at the local grocery store. Unfortunately, as my car is aging, the dings on the front of the hood are starting to expand. I thought this touch up paint might help with the problem. Well... I supppose that depends on what you want to consider "help". The spots are now covered up and so they're less likely to rust. That counts for something. And the paint color is a perfect match. That's something else positive. BUT...The paint just doesn't cover. You can see in my photos the original problem. And in another photo taken at a distance, you can see that the spots are much less visible. However, you can see in the close up photo that the spots are absolutely not covered up. The close up photo has 3 coats of paint on it. Obviously, it's going to take countless coats of paint to get these spots covered. Trying to do it all in one day isn't going to work. This is going to be a situation where I have to continue to reapply the paint every time I wash my car.In the event that I ever get this looking right, I will return and update my review and let you know how long and how many coats it took. In the meantime, this is 2 stars because it simply isn't doing the job.

This little 2-in-1 touch-up paint pen is pretty handy to have around. The color match on my A20 Red Alert Nissan is surprisingly good; I was worried about it looking patchy, but it blended in pretty well after a couple of careful applications. The pen applicator is definitely more precise than using a brush, and I appreciated that it allowed for smaller, more controlled dabs of paint. It's perfect for those tiny chips and scratches that bug you but aren't worth a whole professional paint job.
