I chose this 25 pack of thin-kerf angle grinder cutoff wheels and I love them. Probably the thinnest discs I’ve used yet, these cut clean and fast with minimal removal of material. My photo shows the disc on-edge compared to a credit card, it’s THIN.After some use on mild steel, I found these to cut fast, be well-balanced and have decent lifespan considering their thin nature. Great value for cutoff needs while metalworking, I’d absolutely grab this set again when I’m in need of more.

What’s in the box: twenty-five (25) 4.5in x 3/64 in x 7/8in cut-off discs for angle grinders.If you are a backyard mechanic (like myself), especially if you do a lot of metal fabrication and welding, you go through a good deal of cutting discs (aka Zip Discs). While the big-name brands are always slightly better for durability and quality control, there are decent off-brand names that are almost as good; this set is one of them.First impressions: Well-made. Each disc is 3/64” thick and is made of several bonded layers to ensure disc strength and integrity. They are coated with a mixture of Corundum and Alundumgrain abrasive particles that resist clogging and aid in better cutting. The discs are suitable for a conventional 4.5” or 5” angle grinder with a standard 7/8” arbor. The discs are rated for a maximum safe rotational speed of 13,300 RPM.How did these discs perform? In one word – Excellent. They fit onto my 4.5” angle grinder with no issues. Upon running the grinder at its maximum speed of 11,500RPM the discs were balanced and did not exhibit any harmonic vibrations. I found that the discs cut aggressively and efficiently. The discs resist clogging which contributes to a cleaner more precise cut. I found that each disc had a decent effective service life that was comparable to brand-name alternatives.I am evaluating this product as part of the Amazon Vine program so I am limited to a 30-day window to submit a review. In order to verify the durability of this product, I am going to monitor this product and its performance over the next 8-12 months of use and revise my review should problems arise.Cost-effectiveness and value: I was very satisfied with the quality of this product; they are well-made, balanced and do the job they are intended to in an efficient manner. At a current price of $17.99 for twenty-five (25) discs or $0.36 each, I feel it is of great value for the quality and functionality delivered. You can do a lot of cutting for under $0.50.In summary: The “4.5in x 3/64 in x 7/8in Cut-Off Discs (25-Pack)” made by KAVISH is well made out of quality materials and lasts a long time. They work well and are very affordably priced.
