Delivery from Amazon was quicker than expected. Thank you.I needed to replace one burnt out HID, and figured that I may as well do both, considering the effort involved. The bulb change on my VW Touareg is a real pain, with having to remove the front bumper cover and headlight housings, in order to access the bulbs.It took me almost an hour and a half. Once done though... WOW! These seem almost twice as bright as my older HIDs, and produce a very white light. I didn't realize that HIDs lose brightness over time.As for my LONGEVITY rating, I only gave it 3 stars, because I really don't know how long they will last. I've read articles that claim LEDs can last up to 25 times longer than HIDs... I guess we'll see.

Although the packaging left much to be desired (a very plain box with a scratched label and another one stuck over it, a scuffed clear plastic cover, no "tamper-proof" seal or sticker), the units appeared new so I thought "what the heck, let give'm a try". Well, these are truly "plug and play" replacement for the oem D3S "xenon" HID bulbs on the wife's '13 Audi A4. One of the old bulbs went out on her car and the oem replacement was over 130$ per side (239 at the "stealer") , so I decided to give these a shot following the good reviews. My first impression is great; the difference is literally "night and day"; these are not only significantly brighter (which is to be expected when replacing ripe hid bulbs) but also a give out a much crisper, sharper and more defined lighting pattern. The color temperature is also higher than oem, so the white is "whiter" no "yellowish" hue anywhere without looking blue, just a sharp "cool white".The whole swap operation was done in a matter of minutes, if not seconds, with NO tools whatsoever, they lit right up, with no error codes in sight... They seem sturdy (well, as sturdy as lightbulbs can get i guess), with a very nice and thick cast aluminium heatsink and a little cooling fan on the back... I'm usually not a big fan of "moving parts" replacing "solid state" but I guess it comes with the territory on these aftermarket led replacements...Only time will tell about durability, but at less than half the price of one oem unit for this pair, I'll be more than happy if they last half as long... as far as initial performance goes, it's a win for sure!

I HAVE INITIATED A RETURN BUT i WOULD BE OK WITH A REPLACEMENT FOR ONE. THE ONE THAT WORK IS NICE AND BRIGHT.i WILL WAIT A BIT TO SEE IF THE SELLER WILL CONTACT ME. iF NOT i WILL RETURN.
