Love it! We used to have a magnetic one that you would just flip back and forth from clean to dirty but I love having the "running" option too! It's particularly useful for us when I've already programmed the dishwasher to go during the night - I put in on running and my husband knows not to open it or that he has to reprogram it if he does. The only one we're seldom using is the "empty" one because quite often by the time it's done and unloaded, there's a pile of dirty dishes waiting in the sink. But that's obviously not an issue and I'd still absolutely recommend it for anyone with a busy household!

Perfect! Very easy to see and easy to use. Has 4 options: running, empty, clean, dirty. My dishwasher is very quiet, so "running" option is helpful, as is "empty" so others know they can put dishes in instead of filling up the sink with dirty dishes. Good product!

I was looking for something to allow my child to let us know when they had emptied the dishwasher. I grabbed this thinking it might be a bit of a gimmick. But easily seeing what state the dishwasher is in has been surprisingly useful. He knows when he needs to empty it and The house knows when its good for dishes to be placed away or in a cycle. Product is good quality. The dial provides noticeable feedback when it is rotated to the next state and it stays in place.

This is a great indicator to have on your dishwasher. No more having people wondering if the dishers are dirty or clean. Dont have to worry about someone opening the door when it is running and full of water. It sticks great on the dishwasher and is a good size so it is easy to see it. The slider is easy to move and it seems well made. There are 4 different indicators to choose from but we usually just use dirty and running.

In the picture you see what I was using before and this product. The bought one is much better than the homemade one. You don't need to pull it off to turn it - we put it right in the middle of the door so we can see it from afar. The only downside is that if you can't read from afar, the colors chosen were not well thought of. They can be confusing, especially if you are teaching your kids about traffic lights.Dirty → Red but s/b Green. For the go-ahead.Running → Blue but s/b Red. Don't touch!Empty → Orange but s/b Yellow. Proceed with caution, don't forget the detergent.Clean → Green but s/b blue or whatever else you want.

This product made my life easy. People at my place used to open dishwasher all the time without thinking even if it is loaded and on. I love this magnet! My memory has gotten worse and my mind likes to mess with me. This simple, inexpensive gadget has provided some comfort in knowing the status of my dishwasher. One less thing to try and remember. Shipping was quick. I didn’t need the adhesive as the magnet worked fine. It slips a tiny bit on occasion, but it doesn’t dance all around the door. That would drive me bonkers. All in all, I highly recommend it and will be ordering one as a gift for my equally OCD sister.
