I bought a size medium which fit my 4.5 year old son well. They keep his hands warm. He hasn’t complained, even on very cold days. They mostly keep his hands dry in the snow but on the warmer days when the snow is melting and slushy, the gloves get soaked through. I’m not sure any “waterproof” gloves can handle that level of wetness though.

I donated these, but they're decent quality, and should keep the kid warm, which is the point.

We’ve had very cold, wet weather lately and these mittens have been great for my son. They keep his hands warm, and more importantly, dry. The snow has been melting and freezing, and melting again, so everything has been extremely wet lately. We haven’t had any issues with them soaking through, even with him playing outside for lengthy periods at a time.

Cute kids mittens, ended up still being a tad big for my toddler but shell grow into them. Theyre well insulated but still have good flexibility. They pull closed tightly around the wrist and we had no problems with them slipping off even though theyre slightly too big. Pattern is cute too.Theyre a standard pair of winter mittens but the quality is good and they insulate and protect from water well. A good pair overall.

These are great little waterproof mittens. Using them for my 3 year old. They're easy to get on and there's a nice velcro strap around the wrist to secure them. The lining inside is nice and soft and cozy. Only ski mittens I've been able to get my kid to keep on.

These mittens are good quality. The velvet-like lining is super soft and warm, and the anti-lost buckle is helpful—it keeps the mittens together, so I’m not constantly searching for a stray one. They’re pretty easy to get on thanks to the stretchy gathered wrist, and the Velcro strap is a nice bonus for tightening them up to keep snow out.The only thing I’m not crazy about is the non-slip palm. It’s supposed to help with grip, but it doesn’t feel all that grippy to me.4 Stars

These are cute mittens for toddlers, and they seem well made, but there are a few things to note.I would say these are good for cold winter days but I'm not sure I'd trust them for really cold winter days. I would guess based on the feeling of the insulation thickness that they'd have a -15* rating, but there's nothing listed on the mitts so it's hard to say what it actually is. I'm just comparing to mittens we already own.The outer material is nice. Seems as though it will be water resistant enough, but I am usually hesitant to say any mittens will be truly waterproof with kids. The velcro cuff is nice, and I like that the upper part of the cuff (after the velcro) goes up quite high to keep the wrists covered and snow out.The inner part of the mitten is a waterproof material which mimics our kombi mittens construction, and is antislip so it's easy for kids to grip things like railings etc. while in the mittens.Note there is a difference in the sizing based on the product description text and pictures. We used the sizing based on the text which says a small should fit a 3-6 year old. It will not fit our 4 year old well. I think the sizing in the photos is more accurate, which states the small will fit a 1-2 year old. It would be helpful if the text/photo sizing info matched.Overall these seem like decently made mittens, however at the price point, which was close to my kombi's, I'd expect them to feel a little more insulated.
