Very easy to put together, and easy to adjust the height on. Holds my violin with ease. Love it.

Arrived on time, new. Easy to assemble. Excellent features are page retainers and the dual-lights to illuminate the music pages.

This stand is too low for an adult to stand and play a violin. It doesn't feel especially sturdy. I couldn't figure out how to use the violin hanger but I wouldn't trust the stand to hang my violin from it anyways. The light it comes with works, and it does fold up for travel. The page holders are handy.

I like this music stand. The addons of the clip on LED lights, the clips, and the adjustability are all appreciated. The steel tubes used for this stand are just far too thin, and insubstantial to inspire any idea of durability when being used frequently. I'll be having to be extra careful, and "baby" this stand to get much use from it.

The music stand and folding sheet music back were easy to assemble, feels solid enough and were light weight enough to be portable. The portable bag seems rather light weight compared to what the selling photo display showed so I do not know how it will stand up to repeated use - especially the zipper - and there isn't a strap to carry it over the shoulder. The violin hanger seems poorly designed. It works, however, it would be better to be hinged in a way to remain attached to the vertical rod so that it doesn't need to be attached each time. Repeated attachment scratched the black paint on the rod and it was annoying that the end spacer was not permanently attached to the screw. I did a simple modification by adding a small sliver of plastic between the end spacer and the screw bolt which afixed it to the bolt. To solve the issue of scratching the black vertical pipe, I cut a 3-inch section of black garden hose to act as a buffer between the vertical pipe and the violin hanger metal parts. Also, I am 6'2" tall and in full extension this stand is too short if I stand. I am using this as a polrtable stand in orchestra so I am sitting down so it is not an issue for that purpose. There should be a note to indicate that the lights require batteries and a note on whether or not the batteries can be left in position if you attach to a power source. Overall, it seems sturdy enough and it is portable - just wish that there was a better engineered violin music stand that could remain in position and be foldable to fit into the bag.

I have a an electric non traditional shaped violin (NS designs WAV5) without pegs. It turns out that the violin hanger works perfectly. Also the adjustability and portability is great. It doesn't take up much floor space which is another plus. There is also special stand design to use the music holder on a desktop. The construction is good and solid. But...as I said there is a but...actually there are 2.1. The instruction manual is not complete and leaves out a few steps with regards to the violin holder. However by examining the pictures in the manual and on Amazon, the assembly can be completed successfully.2. The amazon description shows a a book clip with a nice design (shown in the picture attached to this review. What I received was a plain white clip. A very minor issue but it would be nice to have the clip as shown.Other than those 2 items I would have given the music stand a full 5 stars. I'm very happy with the product.

This stand is great. Set up was easy. It isn't big to it tucks in the corner of the room. Holds my kids music and violin! Adjustable so my 14 year old can use, then my 8 year old. Would recommend!

It’s very sturdy and snugly hold the violin in place. Great for the practice sessions. It has good space for putting sheet music, which is way better than the previous ones I have used

The stand itself is sturdy, well-made, and easy to assemble. It arrived ahead of time, and came with neat little extras such as a twin clip-on light (which operated on batteries or a USB attachement), and an ornamental music clip. The stand had 2 attached spring-loaded wires to hold one's music in place on windy days. It was everything I needed and am very pleased!

I have a stationary wooden stand, but I wanted one that was sturdy and portable and different from the wooden one. I was surprised at how sturdy this one is and how easy it is to put together. It is more than worth the money and works well for my needs. It adjusts in three areas: at the legs; middle stem and upper stem. The plate can be easily adjustable, with small antennas to hold the pages in place without obstructing the view of the page. The little antenna lights that easily attaches to the plate is adjustable and also have different levels of brightness. The violin holder works well and holds the bow in place as well. I'm happy I made this purchase.

Career musician/teacher; I ordered this because my daughter is starting violin, and we can’t get away with just using the piano anymore. Holy cow! This stand is such great quality for the price! I wanted something simple, sturdy, and low profile, that wouldn’t look cheap (lives in my studio), but still be able to be carted around if needed. It comes with a case for the “table”, if you will, and another for the legs. It also included a neat stand light and music clip :) It definitely surpassed my expectations!

I was looking for a stand that is sturdier than the el cheapo metal "bottom end" folding stands. One that can support a heavy book of music like "The Daily Ukulele". This one works perfectly and comes with additional items--a large clip for holding a sheet or two on a windy day; a battery or USB two-headed LED clip light for use in dark rooms (two levels of light intensity!); plus a clamp-on violin holder.I found the violin holder unsuitable for a ukulele but I bought a clamp-on String Swing Ukulele holder for $13 from Amazon and it fits nicely even with the stand in a low position for playing seated. It took a bit of practice to get the stand assembled for the first time. The tray folds in two and is a piece of cake to fold out and lock into place. Once I figured out the orientation of the fastener clip on the back of the tray and its relationship to the top of the stand then I was on my way! I'm not sure why there's a thumb screw-knob on the back of the clip. Gravity holds the tray in place on the bottom part of the stand.I'm super satisfied with the stand, accessories, and the carrying case. The nylon used in the case seems rugged enough to last for years. It's an excellent value, I think--even with having to discard the violin holder and replace it with a ukulele holder.
