I use my iPad for music and having it sit up like a sheet of paper rather than sideways works so much better, and this is secure in that it grips it from the bottom unlike other holders.

Holds my iPad Pro - I use it on the stand by K and M when teaching music, and on the Spider Pro when on stage. It’s a very well-built product.

These are fantastic - K&M can’t be beat.Adjusts in an instant to allow landscape or portrait viewing. Durable, solid build quality. This is an improvement over the propriety holders that they used to make that only fit one model of iPad/tablet - the ingenious new design is adjustable to snugly & safely hold any iPad/tablet - including my 12.9 iPad PRO.Highly recommended to safely hold your device in any setting.

Bought in June and was broken by December. Amazon won't do anything about it and says it's K&Ms problem and K&M says they can't refund because I didn't buy directly from them. Save your money and buy from someone else.

I use an IPad pro, the largest model IPad. This IPad holder does the job. It holds the ipad securely in place even with the IPad cover folded back. The holder fits onto any microphone stand and it swivels and tilts to exactly where you want it positioned. It quickly moves from Landscape to Portrait positions, with a convenient stop on each position, built into the holder. This is a really well-engineered product made in Germany. I've had several other I pad holders designed to work clamped to a stand and none of them worked well enough for me to keep. This one is a keeper. Highly recommended

Use this K&M stand to hold my Microsoft Surface while playing on gigs. Easy to set-up and to use. Be sure to follow the instructions for set-up, as just eye-balling it could send you off in the wrong direction. Once the arms are set-up insertion and removal of the tablet is very easy. Robust construction of the microphone socket and pivot point should ensure years of trouble-free operation.

This holder has two parts: 1) the part which holds the iPad, and 2) the horizonal bar which clamps onto the mic stand and holds the iPad holder. The main flaw is that the part which attaches to the mic stand involves a very long, thin screw which passes through the metal arm to provide pressure against the mic stand. Being that this screw is long and thin, anything but perfect alignment starts wearing on the tapped threads in the block of metal. This metal is made of cheese, apparently, because I can get a whole new set of shavings every time I screw or unscrew it, whether or not there is any load on the screw. The shavings accumulate and the screw binds. At some point, the threads are going to give way, which will loosen the entire holder off the stand and send an iPad to the ground. There is no clean way to remove the pad at the end of the screw, remove the screw, and re-tap with a larger size. The second flaw is a little more of a design decision. There are three clampy arms that grab the iPad - two angled and one horizontal. You set the angled ones first, slide your iPad into them, and then close your horizontal one on the iPad. I've found I'm almost at the very end of the horizontal travel with an iPad Pro 12.9 and nowhere near the end of the travel on the angled ones. This puts the iPad off-centre, which looks weird.Other than this, part #1 is pretty solid and I'm not worried about it falling apart from regular use. Part #2 is going to get rebuilt someday. Somewhat disappointed because I bought K&M - and paid 3x as much - specifically to avoid getting something made of cheese.

This thing gets the job done, although I had a previous model that was made just for my IPad and that was SO much better than this. I constantly have to adjust the little adjusting screws because they come loose in my bag. It’s a mild annoyance but also as others have mentioned the top clip does not really hold the iPad all that well. You cannot use this with a case, which is fine for me because I was used to that with the other one I had. But the constant adjusting is what gets annoying, doubly so when I consider the price.

First off, this stand is great! I bought this for my gigging iPad Pro 10.5", and it's built solid. It does look a bit odd in portrait mode, but I almost always use my iPad in landscape on stage because I'm a keyboardist, and all my apps are by default in landscape mode, so I never really bothered having it in portrait. K&M always had their products built incredibly, and I own many of their products.Secondly, I'm confused at Amazon, because the delivery I was told was 22nd of February, and today's the 12th. They also promptly informed me the other day that this shipment was delayed because it had to go through customs, but I still got it 10 days early. By no means am I disappointed at this, but I'm still confused. Oh well.
