Self locking on pipes and nuts with no slipping on the work piece. The optimized jaw shape will grip round, square and hex shape materials. The box joint design is highly stable because of the double guide. The guard on the handle prevents the fingers being pinched as the handles are squeezed together. The 3 piece set will cover pipe capacities from 1-1/4" to 2".

Knipex are the best hand tools I have ever found. The side cutters I have just don’t wear out. I’ve tossed the rest of my hand tools and replaced them with knipex

The tools has a fond mental design issue. When applying pressure on the Handel for tight grip, it simply doesn’t transfer the load to the point of contact ( Jaw ) No I will not recommend this to product hard working people.. I love KNIPEX . But not this one.. cheers..

Bought this as a gift for a professional family member and are used daily. He luvs them. Knipex is a top quality German tool brand. Yes, pricey but when only the best will do you can’t go wrong with Knipex.

The smallest one is starting to slip when adjusted to the appropriate size. However the two others ones work as if they were new! They are on the expensive side but worth it if you use them often

What elegant simplicity.Compared to a Pliers Wrench, or a Cobra, or even a crescent wrench or channel locks, the Alligators are slimmer, lighter and hands down more versatile.Highly recommended, especially for someone who wears their tools, or wherever weight is a concern.Based on the reviews, I did not have high expectations for the alligators, but through use thehave become one of my favorite Knipex products!

Good and quality tools, i try and i can say they will last long life, compare to my old cheap tools made in china LOL they last only 3 yrs .

The first time I used one of these pliers from the set was to grab the threaded end of a carriage bolt because it was spinning and I couldn't get the nut off with a spanner. The nut was off the bolt in seconds. The right tool for the job.

They're amazing, I knew they were good but this was way beyond my expectations. I had Channelock's before and they didn't had a good grasp on the pipes & the lower jaw kept bending sideway, I've been using these knipex for 3 months and they already outlasted my last set of Channelocks, needless to say, they're intended for professionals and it shows because they're built to last!

Excelentes pinzas se siente el buen acero del que están hechas, para electricidad o plumeria son de lujo y tienen buena sujeción. Valen la pena y pintan pinzas para mis nietos je.

Great plier set. Expensive compared to even Craftsman but better, a lot better. Greater control and not sloppy. So much range. And the range of openings hold. I've had pliers where I set the amount of opening and then it moves on its own. Also, the angles are good most pliers are designed so the more they open, the more off the angle is. The jaws grip better than Craftsman too. I've never had snap on alligator style pliers so I can't compare (and they aren't cheap either). But I bought Bluepoint from Taiwan and they didn't hold up at all, they got sloppy in a year. So you are going to pay for good pliers and if you use them a lot like I do to work on my cars, household repairs, etc., they are worth every penny. I like the set because it's not much more than buying two pliers individually and these three cover most jobs. The big ones are big enough to compress break calipers, the little ones great for spring hose clamps. The medium and large ones for plumbing. In fact, I used the small pliers today to put in a sprayer in my kitchen sink. So they are excellent and I put them to work on day one and they immediately became my go to pliers.
