It's a transparent soft shell case as advertised but the hole in the case for the power button of my Clara Colour is not centred and the case itself smudges very easily. I just got it so I can't speak on its durability or protection capabilities but what I hope to see is that it doesn't yellow too quickly. It does snap on and come off nicely but for a $30 CAD price point, the misaligned power button is disappointing.

I'll admit that I didn't want to like this product because of the $30 price tag, HOWEVER - it's simply perfect! I tried to buy a cheaper "dupe" and it didn't fit properly amongst other issues. This one is great and I'm so glad that I bought it for my Kobo Clara BW :-)

I donβt know if the one I got is defective or not but I went to charge my kobo the other day and noticed.. wait a second the hole isnβt in the right place for my kobo.. I wish it was because I would love this case but itβs not

I initially rejected the idea of paying $30 for a clear case, but after trying a cheap one that didnβt actually fit the Clara BW (as promised) I gave in and ordered this one. It is very nice and fits extremely well. I like that the design is very clean and doesnβt have any corner bumpers or texture. Time will tell if it can resist yellowing.

I find this perfect for a basic, clean looking cover. Before this I had a tolino branded case, which was a bit bulkier, materials didn't feel as nice and it picked up dirt and smears way more.The back of this one is plastic, which has the exact same roughed up pattern as the device itself, giving the vibe that it's really taylored to the Clara.The front is some matte faux leather that feels nice to touch.In sunlight the color is a vibrant purple-ish blue, in lower light it appears more dark.When closed, the front part can slide up and down a bit, but it's not an issue; the screen always stays protected even when it's not perfectly aligned.The magnet keeps the case closed securely but it's also easy enough to open. The automatic sleep/wake functions perfectly.When opened, you will probably fold the front cover around to the back, so you'll be touching the light-grey inside material when holding it - it feels soft and grippy.When opened and while reading, I also especially find the blue frame aesthetically pleasing that the case adds around the device.

I ordered the Clara Colour and needed a case. I was drawn to the color of this sleep case. I havenβt received the colour yet, however, Iβm currently using it on my Kobo Clara 2E. Fits well. No issues. I hope itβll remain in good use.

Like: The blue colour AND the frame is blue too! The front flap stays closed magnetically. The back has the same design and grip as the actual Clara BW. The case is light and thin.Dislike: The flap moves around so much. It stays closed but slips up and down because it overhangs a little. When the flap is flipped back, it doesnβt stay there magnetically so itβs slipping around when open. And if holding it like an actual book, the edges of the flap are too sharp. My case doesnβt fit the Clara BW perfectly, the one corner creaks and moves around a lot.Despite all this I keep coming back to this case bc the origami one is too thick and I love the pop of blue around the frame.
