This board's 9-ply maple wood deck measures 31 inches long and 7.5 inches wide, offering excellent space for sure footing. A double kick tail design provides a higher level of control, allows for a wide range of tricks, and a way to brake easily - using the front or back of the board, making it perfect for a novice still gaining balance and confidence, or a more experienced rider who still isn't quite tall enough for a bigger board. The 5-inch heavy duty aluminum "orbit" trucks with polished finish and polyurethane-injected bushings supply the speed associated with longboards and makes the board able to sustain a higher weight limit than standard skateboards. The all-black top deck gives the board a classic design, while the pink and black retro Kryptonics logo on the bottom provides a vintage California long boarder look. The deck features 80AB grip tape to hold feet in place while the 52mm x 33mm polyurethane-injected wheels with carbon steel ABEC-3 bearings ensure a smooth, shock resistant ride. Recommended for ages 8 years and up, weighing up to 220 pounds.

This is the first ever skateboard I've bought so I don't really know how it compares to higher priced ones, but it's been working out great. I've had it for about a month and a half and it's very sturdy. At first the wheels were pretty stiff, but they loosen up over time and as you ride it more. It's a great board for the price if you're just learning how to ride like me. I was nervous considering I'm 20 years old and heavier than the average 13 year old, lol, but it's holding up great! Definitely would recommend for anyone who's looking to learn.

I used it all day today and being sixteen i went pretty rough with it, the paint chips really easily so not a board for someone that likes to keep it pristine, the trucks were very loose but with some tightening it was perfect, and the wheels are a little rough, but in all honesty very good for beginners and very sturdy

I bought this skateboard for my 12 year old son , he has been using it for about two weeks and he loves it! I am no expert but it's holding up well to the rough tricks he has been doing on it , the bottom of the board was pretty scratched up by day one so keep that in mind , the paint and image on the bottom comes off very easily but so far other than looks it has no effect on the use of the board.
