  • EPA-Recommended - This is the most accurate and sensitive lead water detection kit on the market. This household water quality testing kit can detect lead content in tap water and well water below the recommended level by EPA, which is 10 PPB.
  • Easy to use - simply add water to the test tube, shake, and transfer the solution onto the test strip. Find the blue line indicating the test result on the test bar to determine your lead test result. This is simply too simple!
  • Protect your family - Lead is dangerous and is found more frequently in household water than most people imagine. Lead cannot be detected by taste or smell and can cause nerve damage, abnormal brain development, and nephrotoxicity - do not take risks.
  • High cost performance testing: You don't have to pay high fees or wait for weeks to obtain city laboratory results, but can obtain almost the same data at a low cost in 15 minutes.
  • FDA-Certified Laboratory - Our production facilities have been FDA certified and undergo strict quality inspections. You can trust the quality and accuracy of each lead water test.

  HOW TO USE

  1.Collect Your Water sample

Wash your hands before starting. Open the foil pouch at the tear notch and remover all contents. The desiccant packet can be discarded. From the cold water tap , freshly draw a sample of water into a clean cup.

2.Prepare Your Water Sample for Testing

Pick up the dropper pipette. While tightly squeezing the bulb at the end of the pipette, dip the open end into your water sample. Release the bulb to extract a portion of the water sample intothe pipette.

Lift the pipette out of the water and hover it over the opening ot the small vial in upright position. Tightly squeeze the bulb again, transfeming the full pipette of water into the small vial. Use only one pipette -full of water.

  3.Perform Test

With one hand, gently swirl the vial for severa seconds, then place the vial on aflat surface. Place the test trip into the vial with the arrows pointing. Allow the vial to sit undisturbed for 10 minutes onthe flat surface.

  4.Read Test Results

Remove the test strip trom the vialand place on a flat surface with the arrows pointing to the left. Blue lines that indicate your test results will have now appeared on the test strip.

Was concerned about lead in the City of Riviera Beach water supply pipes, and my apartment buildings 1957 pipe solder. You are supposed to extract exactly 80 uL (very small amount) of sample water using a provided dropper. For the life of me I could not get the amount of water in the dropper to the 80 uL fill line. In repeating several times, I think I got air and water bubbles inside the dropper. When I finally thought I had it at the 80 uL line, I squeezed out the water to mix with the test powder (could not see any) in the provided vial, let stand for 1 minute, then sucked it up with the now empty dropper. Very little came back up into the dropper. I squeezed out what I had into the test strip, but clearly not enough and now the test has begun. I picked up some more water and added that to the vial, mixed for a minute, then squeezed out into the test strip hole. At that point I could see the test strip slowly get wet. After 5 minutes the lead line (C) appeared strongly, but the T line was barely visibleDoes that mean there is lead in our water (barely visible T line indicates borderline / 6-9 ppb) or I screwed up the test, or the test was defective because there was no powder in the test vial? Only way to find out is buy a different test and repeat.
