I am finding that this mini centrifuge works very well but I must admit that I had to look at a video in order to figure out how to get it to start. The instructions aren’t very clear on that so I thought it was trying to continually reset the speed not realizing that it shows zero after setting because it isn’t moving. Duh. Works great for blood spinning however you wouldn’t want to use that high speed for a blood spin so it is kinda wasted. There are other options, possibly better ones that are cheaper as you wouldn’t want to go over 3,500 for a blood spin. I’ll probably keep it though unless I see something better. The beeping is loud and when the lid is open it beeps until you close it which is annoying.

This mini centrifuge machine is compact and works exactly as advertised. It’s easy to set up, and the spinning mechanism feels smooth and efficient. I bought it for some science experiments, and prp with microneedling, to do at home. The test tubes are so cute and tiny, absolutely adorable in size, so it’s really practical when drawing blood, to use especially for PRP, since you don’t need that much anyways. There were a lot of little things that came along with it, like a test tube stand, Pipettes, etc. The spin on this is fierce and powerful; yet quiet and smooth, I was really impressed. It performed perfectly for small tasks. The quality feels solid for the price, and it’s a great tool for hobbyists or small labs. It’s made well; and seems extremely sturdy, well worth the purchase! I highly recommend! I’ll try to upload my photos again later as Amazon isn’t allowing me to right now.

Very very pleased with this due to its range of different sample tubes. I own a full-sized industrial grade one and I needed (wanted) a smaller one for doing live blood cell study and also hunting for bears.Ever since my wife saw a water bear from our small pond, the search is on. They can live longer than us, survive the atmosphere of space and who knows what else ... oh and they are famous in Star Trek Discovery!This unit is smooth and I like the gear-driven top so if you accidentally open it while running, it will stop the unit. Also, it is easy to change the large holder for the flat version for the smallest range of tubes.I need to post photos and I hope to get them up soon. I like the size of the unit.
