The backing for the pin DOES NOT STAY ON. I’ve almost lost the pin so many times and it makes me sad. I’m thinking of giving up and sewing it onto my vest. But if I do I can’t wear it anywhere else. I want to love it so much. But it just won’t stay put.

My Katniss-obsessed kiddo was SO excited to receive this. It's truly beautifully made - the design looks great and it looks like a proper antique find straight from District 12. It's not cheesy or cheap looking. However - the pin on the back is short and the clasp doesn't hold once you put it on material of any substantial thickness (like denim). After a couple close calls and rounds of lost & found, we decided to glue it on a bag.
