Kenny Waynnee Shepherd Band, Lay It On Down, Edición limitada. Un CD que me ha gustado mucho: música y la edición del Cd, incluye libreto con buena calidad. Totalmente recomendable.

I'd been a fan from 10 days out ,Blues from the Back Roads CD & DVD Combo and been meaning to buy this great Album for a while till was recommended consisting of 10 catchy Blues Rock guitar Tunes that just keep growing on you and 40 minutes long and all I can say about this Great Album A Must Have for anyone into Blues Rock Guitar.

Excelente grabación, para estas épocas escuchar música de tan alta calidad, tanto en producción como en ejecución, es de mucho impacto, Kenny es un buen guitarrista y sus acompañantes muy buenos, lo recomiendo

Fantastic guitar as always. A wider variety of song styles then I expected. Of course the blues but a couple of great country songs and even a song that reminded me of the eagles. I love it.

本ＣＤを試聴して気に入って買ったのですが、これまでKenny Wayne Sheperd を知りませんでした。Stevie Ray Vaughanに大きな影響を受け、90年代に入って大きな成功を収め、近年はStephen StillsらとThe Ridesとしても活動しているそうです。今回のメンバー・クレジットは自身含め5名。（Vo）のNoah Hunt、StevieのDouble Troubleメンバーとして有名な（Ds）Chris Laytonとは、’97年発表の「Trouble Is...」以来のつきあい。（B）Kevin McCormickはThe Ridesからの仲間、そして（Key）のJimmy McGormanはLAで活動しているマルチなミュジージシャンです。Kennyの卓越したブルース・ロックGをコアに、ロック・カントリー・ポップスなどの要素が混ざり合い、どこか70年代の香りがするロックを聴かせます。Kennyは歌のリードも取るので、実質的にツインVoバンド。1、2は KennyがVo。前者は適度にポップでストレートなロック、後者はドライヴ感あるホーンが味わい。いずれもGはキレが良い。Noah が歌う3、本作イチポップな作り、Gソロは端正だが粘っこくブルージー。美しいバラードの4に続き、Noahの声質にあったカントリーな2曲。5はGカッティングが印象的、6は広く開けた世界を観るよう。8はヒップなR&R、10 はlow＆dirtyでリフが重くカッコイイ。全体的にはJimmyがモダンな音と雰囲気作りに貢献しています。ライヴではNoahがGを抱えてリフやバッキングも演奏するので、アルバム以上にGバンドの印象があります。本作のツアーは欧州を終えて今は北米を廻っています。来日、してくれないですかねぇ。

Kenny Wayne never disappoints , I have his entire catalog and I play them all as much as I can . This CD is no different great songs , amazing guitar licks .

I really like this album, good to see some diversity in tunes and more singing from KW. As always great vocals from Noah and fantastic playing from Kenny.
