I put LEDs in my original housing but when it started cracking from sun exposure, I replaced it with this. Not as bright as this unit has the LEDs integrated but it's a direct plug and play replacement.

Replaced the original gmc lite due to leaking in the cab around the solid back window. The original was filling with water so I decided to replace it. This new one also looks great on my black truck. I did replace the gasket on the original but had to take the light off and put it back on a few times for the gasket to seal. This one was one amd done.

My light bar was sun beaten and hazy from age and oxidization, fine cracks were visible and from living at high altitude, it was just cooked. Old bar practically removed itself, red cover popped off and it made me wonder how many more car washes it would have taken to break off. A little gentle prying with my plastic pry bar, the led portion came free from the sticky gasket material. Plugged the light in to test it, before full install…bright af. And the brake light was a lil American flag, which was a nice touch. Merica! Made sure to put the washer gasket on the screws and on the light fixture hole for a water tight seal. The white cab lights were nice for offloading at night, and the smoke lenses updated the look of my zr2. Easy install, just a few minutes
