Excellent hole saw for hardwood. Drilled 128 consecutive holes in 3/4” white oak, using a slightly underpowered drill press and taking only enough time between holes to clear the plugs. Clearing the plugs is super easy with a flat head screwdriver in the slot. I bought 4 of these expecting them to dull quickly for this project but using only one of them, the last hole was just as clean as the first.

Worth every penny. I wanted to cut a hole in my desk at the office to hide my cables. I bought a cheap hole saw, it was taking so long, kept getting stuck, and it broke not even half way through. So I bought this one and WOW what a huge difference!!! It cut through my very thick and solid desk in seconds and it felt so smooth! You won’t regret this purchase! It worked so well, I have been thinking I may need another hole or 2 in my desk haha

I used this hole saw twice to cut thru 1/2" PVC, which is did very well. It was difficult to get the cut pieces out of the saw afterwards but I managed. Pleased with this item.

Worked well for drilling a 2" hole through multiple pieces of 2x6's. Takes a strong drill since a lot of torque is required once the bit get deep into the middle of the wood. The trick I found is not to push too hard and just let the bit's teeth do the work, since they dig in quite well. I was able to drill through 3 pieces of 2x6 (4-1/2" total depth) without any problem.

Fits any conventionnal drill perfectly. Does a perfect circle, was afraid that it would chip my desk but its very precise.. make sure you do it at high velocity and it will do the trick.

I'm an occasional DIYer so I just have a few underpowered Ryobi tools to take care of any projects that come up at home.I was putting together a custom desk with a secondhand hard maple tabletop and was scratching my head over how to create a 2" grommet hole for my cords without burning out my little Ryobi drill or breaking my wrist from kickback, which is how my cheap Ryobi 2" hole saw behaves, even with softer wood. Just used it to drill several holes through 3/4" plywood and it cut through with no problem. Also the slots on the side made it easy to remove the cut out plywood material. in the past I've used hole saws that made if very difficult remove the waste material.

I thought the pilot drill bit was either bent or off center causing the larger saw cutting teeth to wander instead of concentrating on a single cutting path. For my use the oversize of the hole (equal to the saw blade thickness) was not an issue. It did take longer to cut but I was able to punch out the 1/8" metal using some WD40 to lube the blade. I saw no wear on the cutting teeth and will use it again.
