I've tested the LASELION LG70 distance meter in multiple rooms of my house and compared the result to a measuring tape, and the measurements taken by the LG70 are dead-nuts on, typically repeatable within about a tenth of an inch, which is quite incredible. The longest distance I've been able to measure is about 36ft and it was still accurate - I simply don't have any easily-measurable spaces longer than that available. The UI of the distance meter is a little clunky at first, and I found the internal beeper quite annoying. Luckily, you can easily mute it!The laser spot itself is bright bluish-green that is easily seen even in bright daylight, so you will always know exactly where the meter is targeting.Overall I think this is simply an amazing laser distance meter for the price. It looks and feels great, provides precise measurements, and is easy to read.

Great little unit! My tests were all accurate, and it has many different measurement options. Easy to use and came with a comprehensive instruction booklet to get those more advanced measurements. It came with two AA batteries installed that showed about half empty as of first use, so best be prepared with some of your own as well.

Nice measuring device, actually took some measurements and then measured with a tape measure and it’s extremely close, lots of functionality, wish it was rechargeable but runs on 2 batteries which come with it, also has a soft carrying bag, great for measuring things that you can’t get too, like a high ceiling or a long distance, good quality and price

This is a handy and compact tool for all your distance measurement needs. It boasts an impressive range of up to 70 meters and delivers accurate results, almost on par with traditional tape measurements. The user interface is intuitive, making it easy to operate, even for novice users. One of its standout features is the ability to measure in continuous mode. Moreover, it can calculate area and volume, and even use the Pythagorean theorem to calculate the shorter side. Switching between different measurement units is seamless.I particularly appreciate that it runs on two standard AA batteries, avoiding the hassle of expensive battery types. Including two built-in level bubbles is a thoughtful touch for alignment use. As a bonus, the device includes a lanyard and a storage pouch for easy carrying and storage.Overall, this is a reliable and feature-packed distance-measuring device.

The green laser is definitely brighter and easier to see when compared to a similar red laser i have. The green dot is a bit larger and less defined if that is any concern to you.I was able to get accurate readings at over one hundred feet (compared to another unit).I found the unit accurate to, at best, 1/8” when comparing to a tape measure. Sometimes I could move the unit 1/4” before the measurement changed.A nice feature are two bubble levels for basic levelling. There’s plenty of measuring modes and i like that the unit changing is easily done by one of the buttons. It uses regular batteries so they can be removed for long storage which is nice. It’s light weight and compact which is also nice.

The LG70 Laselion distance measure is comparable to the Bosch GLM-165-40. Feature wise they are nearly identical. The LG70 does have a slightly larger display, and the green laser is a lot easier to spot outdoors in some situations. I’ve not had great experience in full sunlight with any laser measuring device. I use red or green target plates when working in full sunlight with lasers. See the photos. The LG70’s size is a bit larger which in my case is a plus. I find the smaller units are easier to carry in a shirt pocket but the larger size of the LG70 makes it easier to grip and the larger buttons are easier to operate.I don’t know how well the LG70 will do after a fall onto a hard surface. This happens a lot on a job site with these kinds of tools. The Bosch has a rubberized exterior whereas the LG70 has a solid plastic case. Rubberized devices tend to handle falls better in my opinion. The Bosch also tolerates water. The LG70 shouldn’t be submersed or exposed to water. The LG70 is also half the price of the Bosch so that may sway the decision to purchase this unit. Larger distance 70 vs 40 meters and the accuracy is identical in my testing.

Sturdy strong design that’s extremely useful for any measurement reading that’s accurate, swift, dependable, and provides all your unit needs in meters, feet, inches … etc. Very high tech with plenty of modes for preferred readings, level for both vertical and horizontal displays, strong green beam laser with a push of a button, quick readings almost instantly.
