This is a cardstock reinforced paper box and photo storing envelopes. It does the job well. I would suggest keeping the box safe putting it on a seldom used shelf or in a plastic bin.

Very much liking these boxes. Very sturdy and able to fit larger sizes of pictures. The envelopes that are included are also roomy and sturdy

These are probably the best photo storage boxes available on Amazon. Most shoebox style boxes are not tall enough to allow 4x6 envelopes to stand upright, but these boxes add an extra inch as you can see in the photo, which means you can pack these full with upright photo envelopes. The box itself is very sturdy, with hardened edges to prevent dents. Our only complaint is that the photo envelopes included are "okay" not great, but it is nearly impossible to find good "stiff" photo envelopes for 3x5 and 4x6 photos. The price is very high for these boxes, almost ridiculously so, but you may never buy another photo box again after this.

Years ago I bought one of these boxes at a shop. Boy, was it great! Sturdy, well-designed, thick cardboard, totally perfect.Later I needed three more but I could not remember where I bought the first one, and there is no company name (or, indeed, any printing at all) anywhere on the box. So I had no idea who made it.I bought some other archival storage boxes, by another company. They looked similar, but they were thin and poorly made. I tried again with another company. The metal fittings on the corners broke and the cardboard top ripped. Finally -- finally! -- I found Lineco again.Don't accept cheaper storage boxes. Lineco is really great. They make a great product and I would pay twice the price for the same box if I had to.One tip for Lineco: print or stamp your company name somewhere on your products.
