I bought it for my ferret boy who keeps tossing his food bowl from the platform. I had already put in a water bowl because of this issue. But when I bought this one, I expected one just like it. One cup of food size, metal hardware, strong thick plastic. This is not that. It's not even the same color, it's Forest Green. The hardware is plastic and I struggled to put it in his cage. The plastic is thin and I'm not sure it'll last in his cage very long. Long story short, if you have destructive pets like my boy, invest in good hardware.

It's big sized I got 3 jumbo male rats who sat on their old one and broke it I hope it holds better

I love these water containers! I attach them to the sides of my large ferret nation cages where I keep kittens from my cat rescue. These are high quality, easy to clean, hold a lot of water, and prevent spilling. Highly recommend!

This bowl is sturdy and attaches tightly to the cage. It’s used for my raccoon so the fact it attaches stops the water from being tipped over. It’s easy to remove and to clean. And perfect size!! Wish I had it when I had my first pet raccoon!!

Love this water bowl. I've tried water bottles. They would drip. I've tried the free standing stainless steel water bowl. My rabbit would dump it. I've tried the hook on cage stainless steal bowl. My rabbit would put his nose under it and nudge it out of its metal ring or would even lift it out with his teeth. The Living World Lock and Crock Dish, 20-Ounce is securely tightened to the cage, there is no ring to hold the bowl and there is a small anchor that holds the bowl in place so your pet cannot move it in any direction. Super easy to take out and super easy to clean. Finally something that actually works!

I first used this bowl when I adopted some new rats and they came with it. I couldn't find it anywhere in store. I use these for my rats, who are spoiled and will only drink out of open bowls. This one is large and perfect for all my rat groups. I have 4 rats and this bowl is perfect., i use it for water but also any food i want to try to keep contained. Easy to use, strong, the bowl locks into the base great ( for those animals that are a bit rowdy), easy to remove and clean. All over great crocks

These are a must have for any critters that get a little rowdy in the cage. I bought three for my ferret (kibble, water, raw food). They are pretty easy to install. The best part is that there is a little sliding piece that moves over the cup part to prevent it from being pushed out. So, when slide to the locked position, a ferret can squeeze under without up-ending the entire bowl. They are very chew resistant as well. They scratch up but haven't come close to chipping or breaking yet. They are easy to clean. Though I do prefer stainless steel dishes for sanitary reasons, I really like these dishes. The price was right and they have the very important locking feature I needed for a smart animal. My one complain is that my little carpet shark figured out how to slide the lock back if I don't push it far enough. That's not really a fault of the product though.Over all, these are problem-free and perfect for my uses. Smarter pets will probably get around the lock but that's why we love them.

These are the best and only dishes I use for my bunnies.Anyone who has bunnies, knows their favourite game is tipping and spilling bowls. When you get a bowl of water spilled its not fun for bunny and especially not fun for me to clean up.This dish works very simple. There's a part that screws to the cage, if will fit any cage I've come across so far. Then the bowl fits like a puzzle piece and you slide the lock over to hold it in place.It's extremely simple to slide the lock back and remove the dish for cleaning. You don't have to twist or turn anything. But bunnies have not yet figured out how to push the lock back!It's also made of sturdy enough plastic that it can't be chewed very easily, and the bunnies really loose interest in chewing quickly as they can't get anywhere on it.Amazing, simple, effective dish. I got the biggest size, which is perfect for my 8lb bunny.

I needed dished that couldn't be spilled or removed by my bird.I purchased 2 of these for my large parrot. He can move the locking clips back but he still cant get the dishes out as they have to be evenly lifted out and his tugging on one side wall doesn't budge them.I have had them for awhile now and they are in mint shape even with all the abuse my feathered friend dishes out. He grabs, bites, and pounds on the dishes, no damage.The dishes are easy for me to lift out and clean and fill. One is for food and one water. They are perfect for us.I dont know if they hold well in a dishwasher since I wash by hand but they clean up quick and easy and they havent stained even from colored bird treats,(food coloring),that Craven likes to get wet and turn to plastered smush. Other bird dishes I had did get stained from foods with food coloring in them.Mine are attached to a cage with 1 1/2 inch square bars. The dishes mounted easy and perfect!I am glad I found these and in the size I needed. They were the only ones our bird hasn't dumped or ruined.
