Leaks like crazy! It’s a large size so that’s good! But within 15 mins all the water was gone!

We bought this water bottle and a Choco no drip water bottle which was $12. This one leaks everywhere, the Choco one does not leak at all. We will be purchasing another of the Choco No drip water bottles.

I bought this for use in transit while relocating my bunnies (otherwise they drink from a bowl, which is much healthier for them than a bottle), but I never used it because I tested it over a few days at home and it never stopped dripping. Waste of money.

I purchased this water bottle for our guinea pig because our old one fell and smashed on the floor (glass.) As soon as I received this, I filled it up with water and before I could even put it in the cage, it began to leak consistently. Not a good product!

When I first got our bunny I remember reading in so many different places that the bottle was unnatural and shouldn't be used so I used a water bowl. The water bowl was Managable but would always have ro clean and refill it since she would fling mulch and food in the bowl or jump in it and knock it over (very messy). I initially got the water bottle because we were going on a stay overnight and was concerned I wouldn't be home and water bowl would get knocked over or dirty. I think bunny really love the water bottle better and there hasn't been as much mess to clean up.

Super disappointed. I looked though the reviews before perchancing it for my bunny. Only saw one bad review from 2023 the rest from last year and this year were fine. Was super happy with the size of it but once i flipped it over the water dripped out of it so fast. Just disappointed to be honest.

I've had this for months and so far there are no leaks, when filled properly. The plastic bottle is a thicker, more durable plastic than similarly priced bottles. If a thin plastic is squeezed even a small amount, like the pressure put on by the metal holder, it'll push water around the tube's balls causing a leak. It may be a slow drip or a stream of water, depending on the amount of pressure. This bottle being a more durable plastic, there's no need to worry about mild pressure being placed on it because it doesn't flex like thinner plastic will. Combined with the gasket and the vacuum caused by an airtight bottle, it prevents accidental leaking. For a leak free bottle:1. Fill the bottle until no more water will fit (right up to the top)2. Check the gasket to make sure it's firmly in place3. Holding the bottle open and up; Put the top on and close snuggly. Don't twist so hard that it strips it, but you do want it tightly closed.4. Turn bottle so the drinking tube is pointing down. You'll see bubbles floating to the top. This is the vacuum seal forming. It's normal for there to be a few drops of water coming out while this happens.5. Test the tube to make sure it's working properly by tapping it with your finger or hand. Properly working, it should leave large drops of water on your hand.6. Attach to cage. A couple of drops might happen here, too, because of the movement and/or pressure you put on the bottle. That's it, you now have a leak resisting water bottle. :-) Check daily to make sure your small & furry hasn't shoved something into the tube. This will cause leaking, slow or fast, in any bottle.*note: the metal holder at the bottom came from a different bottle and I use it to help keep the bottle from sliding with my two rambunctious rat babies. I'd suggest tying or clipping something near the nozzle so it doesn't slide.
