I like the form factor and own several of the wooden Mach One rests that I think this design is ripping off. It is bulkier, heavier, noticeably a cheap discount brand but most concerningly (I bought this as a backup for my students that come without a rest) is that it fits slightly snug and doesn't allow for a full range of adjustments on the instrument - I like to be able to rotate the rest to a 45' angle.

Bought this for my son and he hasn’t complained. Works well and looks good. We actually took the violin in for repair today and got a compliment on this shoulder rest from the repair shop. So it must be good right?

Holding a violin between my chin and shoulder was not easy for me and my kid.But after using this shoulder rest, it became very easy to play violin. Now I am able to concentrate more on learning. However, It is little bit costly, but it's okay.

Overall this is a quality shoulder rest made of real maple wood. May take some adjusting but I find it quite stable and comfortable. Wouldn't recommend for someone with a really long neck but otherwise I highly recommend it.

This shoulder rest for 3/4 to 4/4 violin is easy to install, and it looks elegant on the violin. It has several holes for the screws on both sides to adjust the width easily depending on the size of the violin. It looks well-crafted with good quality materials. The foam feels soft and comfortable. It is easy to secure the rest onto violin. There are two spare screw claws in the box.

Personally I found this more comfortable when put to use. Helps to focus on playing violin easily rather than straining on its position to hold well. Although a bit expensive, this one is good with my taste. Thanku.
