They are too small for a traditional car battery posts. Had a difficult time getting this to fit.

If you have a 12 volt system in a vehicle that sits a lot, you need one of these to protect your battery from accidental discharge. It is always a pain to have to jump a backup vehicle before use, because it sat too long with some minor battery drain...

I had a electrical problem with one of my vehicles. Since at the time of buying this product the average temperature was 14 degrees Fahrenheit. Since I did not feel like working on my vehicle in extreme cold weather I decided to buy this battery disconnect.It was delivered pretty quickly and I have to say I was surprised of the quality. I honestly planned on only using this as a Band-Aid until fixing the electrical issue that is draining my battery. With the quality of this product it's going to stay right where it's at. For what the big automotive box stores wanted for one I was able to get two of them. I plan on using the other one on another vehicle of mine.I most definitely recommend this product.
