I had a first gen sbc and the fitting from old power steering pump screw in to 5.3 lm7 power steering pump.

I looked all over for a solution to adapt my 1974 Chevy C10 power steering box to my 2004 Chevy 6.0 LS power steering pump. This fitting allows me to use a stock power steering line off a 74 Chevy into the back of my Chevy LS 6.0 with the metric o-ring. The fitting converts the PS pump from the o-ring metric style to the original inverted flare type fitting on my truck so I can use an stock style PS line for my 74. The PS line for my 74 is 3x cheaper than the LS hose. This fitting saved my time, aggravation and money.
