Works perfect. I never used one before. I was easy with the instructions from utube advice. I use two types of seed. It is for my cats not myself. Easy to clean. Scissors work well for cutting the roots. I don't change the water as often as some do, no problems so far. 6 days is right on. It is nice having several sets so when a grown one is almost used up you can start another one so there is no delay.

The plastic is really thick and strong for something made nowadays. I love how modular these are and you can move around the lids and trays easily to change out the water.Right now I've been growing smaller seeds on a paper towel and fatter ones by themselves.Really pleased with this product. I was growing microgreens in soil in old clear mushroom trays but this is cleaner and doesn't get moldy like the soil did.

I purchased these for my kids to try and grow some of their own veggies. We first tried broccoli micro greens. These work well and provide enough space for them to grow. The water has to be changed out daily though otherwise it gets smelly.

Bought these to grow cat grass and have not been disappointed. I'm on round two (the girls gobbled up the first one) and this is at 4 days since I soaked the seeds initially. The dome lid on these is actually a much stronger plastic than I thought it would be. Very impressed. I wiped out on a patch of ice carrying one to take to my mom's and it only had a very tiny mark on it; no cracks or damage. My only wishlist for a future model is a water line mark on the inside, so I'm not having to guess.

I've tried and failed to grow microgreens indoors with soil. I'm using these sprouting trays with 5" square hemp mats, worked perfectly every time so far by following the instructions in the box. It's a month later and I've just purchased a second set of these trays to expand into growing baby greens for the holidays. Sizewise, the trays are 1/8 of a 1020 tray, so you can cut full size hemp grow mats into 8 equal size pieces. I feed my little plants with diluted seaweed extract into the bottom tray and they grow happily on that with no effect on taste. Splitting your crop into separate trays allows you to get 10 day greens (eg broccoli) and 5 day greens (eg radish) ready on the same day without waste. An altogether awesome product for microgreen growers with limited space.

I've grown several batches of microgreens with this. It works great:1. I use a 5" hemp mat and wet it down with a 50% hydroponic solution, then fill the bottom till it's touching the bottom of the top grate.2. I add seeds to the hemp mat, a bit less than 1/2 a tsp and spread them as evenly as I can.3. I add a lid and let them go for 10 days. Voila, a nice harvest of microgreens.Easy to harvest, easy to clean, rugged build, they'll last a long time.
