You definitely can’t go wrong picking up this set of crimps.The crimpers are fairly decent, and definitely worth the price tag, sitting around the price of a half decent set. Throw on top the ferrules and you get quite the bang for your buck!

This is a great kit for crimping the ends of multi-strand wire when it needs to be inserted into a screw terminal. Different methods of dealing with that situation are available, and in my practice I have mostly used soldering iron to tin the twisted together wire strands before clamping the wire under the screw. This method works with copper wire, but sometimes the wire is made of steel strands that are difficult if at all possible to tin. Also, the tinning method is only good for situations where you need to insert wire into the header one or twice. With ferrules however, this operation may be repeated multiple times and provide reliable connection every time. This is why this crimping kit is so nice to have. Recommend buying it, while the price is still very reasonable.

The crimper has a weight to it and feels solid with a good grip. You don’t need a lot of force to do a good crimp. It comes with a large assortment of ferrule connectors for both single and dual wires, making the tool kit useful.I tried to crimp two wires, and they were so secured that I couldn’t pull the ferrule connectors apart using large pliers. This is great! However, upon close inspection, the crimped ferrule did not form a perfect square shape. Each of the four teeth of the crimping tool is string-loaded independently, and therefore, sometimes, they may not form a perfect square.Nevertheless, for home use, I am totally satisfied because the ferrule definitely increases the strength of the stranded wire. This is especially true when you consider the affordable $41.99 price tag. I have no complaints. A good order for me.

This is a very useful Ferrule Crimper kit for anyone dealing with wiring, wire-ends, repairs, electrical/electronic restoration, etc...The end-result is neat and tidy - with a positive contact with the terminal - on every count - and no loose strands short-circuiting anything or poking ones finger.Besides, removal of a wire from a screw-terminal and reinsertion (many times) does not degrade the electrical (or mechanical) connection.The tool is easy to use, and it's a 100% perfect crimp every-time.We get 1200 PCS assorted Ferrules in a nice storage box.I highly recommend this kit - whether a Pro or a DIYer.

I didn't realized that my hex crimpers were not the right tool for crimping all ferrules. Hex crimpers are fine for round hole clamps, but for rectangular clamps you need to use a square crimper for ferrule.This is a well made square crimper for ferrules. It feels heavy duty with a nice feel to it. It's easy to make nice square crimps on a ferrules with this crimperAs a bonus you get 1200 pcs of both single and double ferrules in a nice plastic case. It will crimp from AWG 28 to 5. Price was good for this product with prompt shipping and delivery.Now I can use the right crimper plier for the job if I have an rectangular clamp.

Build quality is great. Comes with a lot for the price. Have only used a couple times at work but worked great to crimp flimsy thein stranded wire rather than struggling to get multiple conductors under a terminal. Would recommend.
