This Magnetic Firewood Measuring Tool can be sticked on either side of chainsaw bar ang it guides to mark the log for a constant lenght firewood cut. Note: Color may vary from what is shown in the photos. This is a rugged resistant product. If the fiberglass rod comes out of the compressed sleeve, it can be put back at its place using a hammer. The fiberglass rod can be easily changed when broken with an another 6 mm (1/4 in.) fiberglass rod found locally.

This worked better than I expected, price and quality are excellent. I was able to move right along cutting 4-5 cords of firewood 🪵

Strong magnet; I tried to make this tool myself but the magnets are always sliding on the bar while cutting. The belt clip is awkward and requires two hands to operate in the field. A 'regular' carabiner-style clip that can be operated with 1 hand (2 fingers), while holding the saw in the other hand, would have made this tool a 5 star!

expensive (for what it is), but this is a handy little tool that i wish i would have thought of years ago. The magnet is SUPER strong, even a bit of a pain to reposition if you are using it on a small saw blade and want to make sure it doesn't interfere with the chain. The belt clip and yellow color are nice features, too.

Aww WOW this thing WORKS!!! What a good idea for people like me who just cuts wood 1-2 times a year it makes cutting 16” a breeze. A seasoned pro wood cutter wouldn’t need this but for an average joe like me it just makes this job easier and faster. I almost lost it in the woods one time since I put it on the ground after I make my marks (yeah there is a belt hook that comes with it but putting on the ground is way faster) so I end up painting the rod to pink so it’s way more visible on the ground. This IS a 5+++++ star product, go get it!!! BTW the magnet on this product is very strong and won’t slip from normal use!!

Works well, strong magnet stays in place when marking. Yellow rod is quite visible if you lay it down somewhere. Would give 5 stars if the price was lower.
