Very attractive and super strong. I am using these to hang heavy iron fireplace utensils. They don’t budge!

I rarely write a review, but thought that others should know how this product far exceeded my expectations. I wanted to hang this wreath off centered on my metal door. Worked just great. I actually had a hard time repositioning it, because the magnets are so very strong. Very pleased!

These magnets are useful for so many things such as holding up a string of lights on metal fences. Very strong. And they look nice.

I bought these initially as fridge magnets but they are BIG. I’m using them as hangers for bags in the laundry room and for hangers for dog leashes etc at the back door. They work great and look nice.

Amazed at the strength of these magnets. They are quite heavy but their holding power is perfect. It exceeded my expectations.

These are great! I'm using them to hang my heavy purse off of a metal prep table. They're so strong I probably only need one, but it's nice to hang the handle of my bag over both. I didn't want hooks as it's a high traffic area, so these are smooth and perfect for the job.

I have one in the entryway and one in the bedroom. Both in metal closet doors and hanging a decent amount of weight. Really like. Also look good. Will buy again!

I was thinking of a way to add a handle to my office cabinet/drawers when I saw this magnet. My office drawers are made of steel, so I figured this magnet will work perfectly. The first time I got these magnets, I was impressed by the black finishing. I don't know what the black coating is, but it does not chip out easily. I also have the stainless variant of these magnets, but they tarnish easily, so I avoid buying those. These magnets are so strong, I have to slide them slowly to the edge if I want to remove them. The magnets are also strong enough that I can attach other metal objects on the other side of the metal drawer, like a knife, or nail cutter, or paper clips, etc. Overall, this product is something I will buy again if I need more. Highly recommendable.

Bought these for my rosin press, haven’t used them yet. But easy to see they will be great for my purpose, quite strong and great size and shape to handle and move around

Fit and finish is nice. The magnets are reasonably strong, but only for very light applications.Unfortunately the descriptions of magnetic strength appear to correlate poorly with typical real-world use. The best I can imagine for their meaning when they describe vertical and horizontal magnet strength is that they mean if you stick it to a vertical metal surface, you could pull downward (vertically) up to 140 lb before it would slip; and similarly could pull outward (horizontally) with up to 35 lb before it would release. I tested pulling it outward (horizontally) off of three ferrous surfaces: my stainless refrigerator, my enameled steel wash machine, and piece of 1/8" thick steel. The first two seem much more reasonable for a typical use case, but the last does speak to what the magnet might be capable of in more ideal settings. When I pulled it outward horizontally (using two ends of a woven cord positioned at opposite sides to apply axial force without leveraging it off), I got up to 20 lb on the refrigerator, 13 lb on the wash machine, and 40 lb on the 1/8 steel. If they meant that this would hold 35 lb in these scenarios, then I would say even this is exaggerated because typical uses are extremely unlikely to pair this with thick steel. I did not comprehensively test the slip forces (vertical), as these will be highly dependent on the specific surface finish. I got less than 3 lb on my fridge though. I will say that even if you assumed they actually got 35 lb of axial force, that would require a friction coefficient of 4 to obtain, which is very unlikely. I would expect coefficients of less than 1 on most surfaces, meaning it would slip at less than the force required to pull the magnet straight off the surface. If a thin layer of rubber were added, maybe close to or a little over 1; though that would put the magnet further from the surface and thus decrease the magnetic force to some degree. I've not tried the included non-stick adhesive pads, but they appear very slippery rather than grippy. With the above statements, I think you would be doing exceptionally well if on a given surface you were ever able to hang up to 10 lb. I would net bet on being able to do more than that, and I think in many situations it will slip with less weight than that. I saw less than 3 lb before slip on the smooth surface of my fridge.Fortunately, all I really needed to hang from one of these was a pair of headphones, so they work fine for my needs.
